Played a game of disc gold here. $3 is a very fair price. Some of the tees are missing but all holes have at least one left. Good mix of technical and longer shots. Beware of errant shots and ravines. Will come back again!

DISC GOLF COURSE REVIEW: On a muddy Sunday morning, my good friend and I decided to try out New Quarter Park's Disc Golf course. We had a lot of fun on this beautiful day despite the course's inaccuracies. The course shows 2-3 baskets for every hole, but the other 1-2 baskets have been removed for every hole and only the farthest (and hardest) away basket remains. The course is not made for amateur players with all the easier baskets taken away. My friends and I are by no means pro's, so our scores on all the Par 3 holes (every hole was a Par 3) were very high. The course is filled with a variety of holes. From wide open grassy areas, to woodsy areas with gigantic ditches and holes on a 45 degree incline, you really get an interesting mix through all 18 holes.Other than the difficulty level of the course, the course structure was not great. We found ourselves searching, sometimes for 10-15 minutes, for the next hole. There were TINY little signs on SOME holes to point us to the next starting platform, but they were so hard to see most of the time. The course is $5 for non-members, and $3 for members. You pay at the front office. If there is no one in the office, they usually have course maps on the table in ziploc bags you can grab, and pay after you play.I don't think my friends and I will be back any time soon. The course is too hard for beginners/amateurs and the course structure makes for a frustrating game at times.

We drove to this park for a very short visit. We walked to the floating dock which was very quiet and tranquil. Probably one of the shorter trails. They do offer disc golf and there are picnic tables and a nice playground area for kids. Staff was at the visitor center. Clean restroom facilities. We saw the view of Queens Creek at the floating dock.

Cute park with a bunch of different walking trails, bike trails, disc golf course, segue tours, kayak/boat launch, basketball and volleyball courts, and pretty nice playground (where kids can play in the adjacent sand box). Actually, it's one of the nicer playgrounds we have seen at one of these historic Williamsburg parks. Great for kids and makes for a nice 3.5 mile hike. Extra points for the "Fire Circle" that my husband and I had a few jokes about.

This is one of my short run go to spots whenever I'm in the mood for a hassle free lazy run. Theres paved roads and the trail becomes more muddy as you run towards The Point, which is an overlook of Queens Creek. From the initial entrance to the overlook its roughly 1.7 miles. I like going here in the evening times since it's usually not too busy maybe a couple of little league baseball games and dog walkers but not too overwhelming like NN park can be. I like the greenery and it seems well kept for the most park. Upon park entrance there isn't too much parking but theres additional parking in the backside. Theres usually college kids here playing frisbee, I think its called disc golf but it looks like a frisbee to me, the park has a course for it too, kinda neat. Its a clean place with hardly any trash. People bike and fish here too. Theres trails for biking and shelters also available. Apparently this is a good spot for bird watching as well :)Overall, its a small park and not too much going on but its a nice escape to solitude if you want to avoid the bigger parks nearby. I definitely hit this spot up a couple times a month for a change of scenery and recommend this place for people who want an easy hike/jog.

This review is for the disc golf course. The course is pretty good. Nice little challenge. It's $3 a day and $25 for an annual pass.

It would be such a nice park if competent people were running it but each time I have gone, some other stupid thing has made me swear I wouldn't go again. Today no one bothered to even open the gate in the middle of the day on a Monday. Why?? I drive all the way out there through the ghetto to get to this park just to have it closed for no reason.

Great place for tourists to get a decent run or bike workout in while vacationing in the historical triangle.
