New China Chinese Restaurant

I love this family owned eatery based on the family alone! They are so great, and so are their sweet kids!!! They are strategically placed next door to food lion. SO nice to order and pickup after a nice little grocery shopping visit! All their portions are big, they have affordable prices, and all around good service! However, lately this place has been smelling like moth balls which is really freaking me out and has caused me to hit the other Chinese option in town...I feel like a trader, sorry guys, but I just can't get over the foul smell....or the possible reason behind why they are using the moth balls all of a sudden :(

I have been eating here a few times a month for the last five years. With every visit the past year it has gone down in my opinion. You have to ask for extra sauce on the kung pao chicken and even then it is cooked to almost jerky. I always get fried rice instead of white. The last time pieces were so hard I actually chipped a tooth. The beef and broccoli used to be so good now there is very little beef and all broccoli. Hunan shrimp was another favorite with no flavor now. My husband thinks they have a new cook. I don't know but something's going very wrong.

Chicken wings and rice was a mess. The wings were wingets fried hard and rancid tasting couldn't eat and the rice was some kind of yellow half cooked rice with not flavor. Disgusting, will never go back!
