UPDATE January 2020: Since I wrote my initial review other buffets have closed but New China hangs on. I still go here because bang for the buck this is still a good deal ($9.65 for dinner including tax). And if you read my other reviews the two closest buffets are not a great big improvement. But after so many years the decor leaves something to be desired. Guys, some paint, new ceiling tiles and artwork would perk things right up.

Don't let the size fool you. They have amazing food here. I drive from Norfolk, Aye! That's all have to say. No , one more thing.. the price is mad cheap . I also notice on my last visit on Jan.25, 2020 the walls have been cleaned and painted.

Trying to find a place to treat my family and friends after a baptism on a Sunday. All the buffet in the area charge eleven and up on Sundays. This place came out to eight and change and included the drink. It is not a large buffet but more than sufficient. The food is hot and fresh and the servers friendly and efficient. Plenty of room for large groups. Would recommend this buffet.

No taste. Food cold to luke warm. Small buffet compared to other buffets close by. Only positive was that they played traditional music & all staff was of Asian descent. Very disappointed since it got good reviews. (Map location isn't correct, it's located next to Ferguson)

I am a regular. Dinner costs $7.75 per person now. Price crept up, but you still get a good deal. Basic buffet selection and limited sushi and desserts, but your drinks are included. Service staff are quick to remove dishes. This has become our "to go" place when we want Chinese buffet. In fact, we call it "cheap Chinese" because compared to similar restaurants, you get a good deal here.

I'd give this place a four star rating if it wasn't that the price is just nearly impossible to beat. Secondly I've seen some reviews on here stating that the food here was awful, this just isn't the case. I love the food here. The selection isn't as grand, but their food is pretty good and I go to a ton of Buffets. If it wasn't a Chinese place, you'd call it a Dive, but not in the bad sense of the word. It's just a small mom and pop buffet just sitting in a strip mall. The staff is cool, the man up front and his wife are friendly and they remember you. The other staff do their best to keep you satisfied, though I don't think they all speak English. That doesn't stop them from working incredibly hard to deliver what you need. This place is definitely not for anyone who is looking for ambiance or a gaudy dining experience. But if you want good american chinese food at a ultra reasonable price. Stop in and enjoy.

Horrible!! There is gunk on the walls and the kitchen looks disgusting! The customer service is horrible. They are very short and rude. And talk about you. Not worth it.

The fried rice was hard! The place is filthy and nasty looking. Got a plate of food and it was so bad I got up and left. Did not eat but two bites. Wish I would've asked for my money back. Ruined my day! Waste of $26 with a tip!!!!!

Good Food, Reasonable Prices and Clean.'Eaten there since it opened. Some of the negative comments mentioned were: Dirty walls ... never so.Sushi ... never seen it offered!Wait Staff ... not so; NCB has always been self serve.Look at the ratings given to others by those who gave negatives. These same people are among those who are seldom-if-ever satisfied wherever they go. Plus, they seemingly give negatives to repay those who would not give them free stuff, or stores who stood-their-ground when these people did their tirade. Better quality people are polite, considerate, truthful.
