Naomi Vegan Meets

I have ordered from Naomi countless times and I am always more than satisfied! First of all, my birthday seafood meal from her was so lit it didn't last long enough for a picture. The shrimp was to die for and I can't wait for summer 2021 so I can get some more shrimp. Second of off her fried chicken got me losing my mind. Imagine KFC chicken but better. Naomi puts Colonel Sanders to shame! Kick him right out of the chicken business. AND HER MAC THOUGH!!!!! I can go on for hours about her food so imma leave yall with this. Go enjoy yall some vegan chicken wings and please don't forget the mac.

Today was my second time ordering. This food is amazing. I chose a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle for my health, but some days, I need that little bit of extra... and this is it! Meat eaters can even enjoy this awesome gem (at least I would have in my meat days).So far, I've had the jerk chicken and the seafood platter--both were excellent! Huge fan of the mac and cheese and cabbage sides. The food is delivered hot and I've been well informed both times on when it was arriving. If you need a specific time, get your order in early!

This is a unique business model but well worth trying.I've ordered twice from Naomi and both times were very easy (I used PayPal). The orders were delivered hot and ready to eat unlike most delivery services. On one order I texted around 4pm and the other closer to closing at 530pm - both orders were delivered around 7pm. Apparently if you order earlier in the day you can request a specific delivery time. (We weren't concerned about that). I've tried the regular chicken, chicken curry, and jerk chicken as well as the Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, and cabbage.The sides were all seasoned very well.The standout of the chicken dishes is definitely the jerk chicken. Hopefully in the future she will continue to explore other sauces.The large meal is plenty for one person but I haven't tried the small portion.Great food that leaves you feeling good while being very tasty!I hope her business continues to expand!

I ordered from here for Father's Day and was very excited because I've been wanting to order for forever! They have awesome reviews on Facebook and on Yelp, so I'm very surprised to be writing this. The order cake with 25 wings, a "large" Mac & cheese and "large" teriyaki asparagus. I've had a ton of vegan food, but this was the first time I was truly disappointed. She came within the delivery time (12-3pm), which was great. The asparagus was good, but didn't taste the teriyaki in it, tasted like some stuff I make at home. The Mac n cheese was a weird sticky. It was ok, not the best. Now... the wings. It literally tasted like Shake n Bake seasoning and that's it. It made my mouth so dry and It barely had any texture to it, other than breading. My mouth was so dry, that's when I realized "oh, where are the sauces I ordered?" She actually charged me $0.75 extra for sauce because when I placed my order I ASKED how many sauces you pick and then the next email was an invoice and not an answer... I messaged her letting her know the sauces were missing and only thing she said was she was refunding my $0.75.. that was insulting because I could care less about that. Maybe offering a discount towards another purchase? Maybe the sauce is what makes the wings... but I pretty much wasted $50 ‍..

Yes. Support this grassroots business. Delivery was on-time and the food was tasty. I highly recommend the crab cakes. I don't live in the area, and good veg food can be tough to come by in SoVa, so I felt blessed to receive the lovely bust down that I did from the Naomi VM crew. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I plan to hit the Family up again, no doubt.

I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with Noami Vegan Meets Company . My Birthday is coming up next week and I wanted to order from there and support this company however , this company did not have any food item images for the catering items on their website , the menus were not updated, there were no prices for the catering menu , you could not even pay your order directly online, and furthermore Noami was very confusing .There were all these different kinds of menus on her website however ,you could not order from those menus . You could only do catering items from her website but ,it did not state that on her website called https://nvm-vgn.square.site . This is highly unprofessional and complete disorganization. I even tried to collaborate , expound, and elucidate with Mrs. Noami explaining to her having major /severe food allergies . My options are very limited/ restricted . I wanted to order from this company because this company stated on their website that it works with customer's that has dietary food allergens . Noami also accused me of trying to harass her however , I would never harass or hound anyone. Harassing and hounding anyone is highly unprofessional and concerning to me . This is never my type of character and essence . As a concerned customer , when is ever asking someone questions about portion sizes , price listing labels , and images of the food catering items ever harassment ? Since this is an online food catering company , as a customer it is essential and significant to know what i'm exactly getting / ordering . There were no meet ups just only pickups only . Not only that, but Noami blocked me thorough email . It is a shame , as a customer to go through that. Again highly , unprofessional. This will be my last time ordering from this company and I will be reporting this company .

Her customer service was fantastic from end to end. She answered any questions and kept us updated on our food delivery. My family and I ordered the shrimp, jerk chicken, fried chicken, and apple pie. EVERYTHING was so good! For it to not be meat, the texture was pretty darn spot-on. Her flavors were nuanced and so so good. None of the flavors were too overwhelming and it all blended together so nicely. I know Naomi just started but I'm so excited to see her progress 'cause her start is pretty stellar!

Firstly, let me start by mentioning that vegan food delivered is a FANTASTIC idea! Delivery is lightening quick with a smile. Next, and most importantly, the food is cooked with love. I've had the jerk chic'n, stuffed portabello mushrooms, infused rice, angry cabbage, lima beans, mac-n-chz, and candied yams. The only dessert I have had is the banana nut cake. The chic'n is fried and served with jerk sauce on the side in a small container. Personally, I did not require more sauce but I am sure others would want additional sauce so if you are thinking of ordering this, keep this in mind. The mushrooms are seasoned to perfection. Flavorful and overflowing with goodness. I always order the large meals and it is enough for 2 people. I adore home-and-hearth meals and comfort foods so the sides really had an impact with me. My fav is the lima beans, angry cabbage, and candied yams. The food is good without being oversalted, overly sweet, and the flavors of the veggies shine through. Finally, the banana nut cake was delicate, delicious and guilt-free. I am anxiously awaiting a brick-n-mortar location that delivers as well. If you like food that appeals to your soul and takes you home while not harming animals nor driving you into an early grave, then Naomi Vegan Meets is a must. Bon appetit!

The food was delicious, seasoned to perfection, and hot upon arrival. This was definitely the best vegan food I've ever had.
