I have been back multiple times since I first visited Nanny's and it has only gotten better for me. There is nothing on this buffet that isn't 10's across the board for me, dessert included. I was shocked to learn there is a menu beyond the buffet yesterday. I'm intrigued, but somehow I don't think I'll ever end up eating from the rest of the menu, the buffet is so good.Really, you must make the trip to this restaurant. It is a lovely, yummy community space. There's nothing to criticize here!

Okay, I am a BBQ judge and I hate to yelp BBQ restaurants because my standards are high. When I do, I try to scale my opinion to what the restaurant claims to be. (For example, I don't hold brunch at Denny's to the standard of brunch at The Jefferson Hotel.) So.... Nanny's.Buffet. Danger, Will Robinson. Buffets are almost always problematic. But Wyfe insisted this was good, and after a 30 mile drive I was game. So, buffet.Started off with the chicken. This fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist and seasoned on the inside. A true delight. And mashed potatoes. Most buffets try to get by on a mix of real potatoes and potato buds to cut cost. Not here. They were the genuine article. Then the greens. Seasoned well, a little (not enough) hint of maybe smoke, lots of porky flavor. Satisfying. Then the thing I was dreading..... the pork. The pork was tender and pullable off the bone at the buffet, and when I got it to the table it was delicious roasted pork. I did not get a lot of smoke but I did get a lot of flavor. Since BBQ involves smoke in my mind, this was a very good mediocre. Meaning I would eat it again but it is not the best example of Q. Salad was good, choice of dressings was fine. Hushpuppies were a good compliment but a nothing-special mix. Now, on to the embarrassment of riches that was the rest of the buffet. The cabbage was so darned tasty, and I am not a boiled/stewed cabbage fan. Other hot veg was good but not remarkable. Potato salad was probably commercial but was very good..... would be called excellent if not on the same plate with those mashed potatoes. Soups were adequate. The desserts were a disappointment. At lunch the choices are not wide, and the restock is not attended to. So what little we had was scraped off the sides of pans and in and of itself cost them a star. Shouldn't disappoint a customer at the end of the meal. Especially with the desserts so prominently mentioned on the menu boards above the kitchen.Service was average, one stop-back to refill drinks. Rest rooms were clean.I will not hesitate to go back.

Heard about Nanny's quite a bit but have never been here before. Heard the homestyle southern comfort food on the buffet is amazing. Rumor was that the cheeseburger was the best. And that wasn't a lie. This is how a cheeseburger should be done. It was so good. Fresh onions, lettuce, crisp pickles. I opted for no tomato. Soft Fresh bun. Melted cheese. Meat was cooked perfectly. However the fries were not my style. They were soggy. I like my fries crispy. Maybe next time I'll get onion rings instead. Will for sure come back when I have worked up an appetite to try the buffet offerings. It all looked so appetizing. Was completely packed on a Friday at lunch hour. Steady patrons coming and going. I see why this restaurant is popular. Too bad the hours are limited.

Let's start by saying I am not a fan of Buffet's. When I walked in and saw that it was a buffet, I almost left... OH MY GOODNESS.... I am so glad I didn't. The food was amazing . Seasoned, fresh, delicious. All the years teaching 95 and never knew this gem existed . Whether local or traveling ... homeCooking can't be beat. They also have take out and a grill if you don't want the buffet

If you're driving down 95 and need a light fare or just a nibble of something do not go here. BUT if you want to be greeted by Nanny at the door, have her show you to your seat in 5 seconds flat, have Kathy ask you want she can get you to drink (you'll be getting the sweet tea in a mason jar of course) and then head over to fill your plate with some down home southern comfort food that'll have you heavy breathing as you waddle back out to your car, this is the place for you. Lunch is $14.99 and dinner is $18.99, Buffet styleChicken and dumplings salty and flavorful(flat pastry style), Salisbury Steak was tender and the gravy had a little bite. Mashed potatoes were buttery, the collards and cabbage delicious, not bitter at all. The pulled pork was moist and had their vinegary bbq sauce on (wonderful, we bought a bottle on our way out). My ONLY complaint was the fried chicken was a little dry, it could easily be solved if they brined the chicken breast but the fry was perfect. Everything we had was delicious, think only the mommas and nannies that can cook at the church potluck on Sunday kind of food..hush puppies, potato salad, green beans, cobblers, banana pudding (with Nilla wafers). Inside was clean, wood benches and bbq joint atmosphere. The bathrooms were very clean as well. I will definitely be back on our way back home.

I happened to get off the exit for lunch stop and I stumbled upon this gem!!! Alrighty to start things off. Nanny's doesn't need foot traffic coming off I-95 but if they put a billboard out there they would be sold out.The place has a ton of parking but it was packed for lunch. The all you can eat Buffett is extremely good and their deserts were amazing. I am not a big Buffett guy but the food was to die for. All southern food (sausages, fried chicken, pulled pork, collar green, hush puppies, etc).I had three plates and desert. The friendly service was excellent, the place is clean, they serve you quickly, tons of parking. I really can't say enough great things!!!

Been going here for more than 6 years as a family of over 15 most times and nanny's has never failed from the warm welcome, to the delicious southern food. We travel so we have been to hundreds of restaurants and have never had southern food better than Nanny's. If you're in town or even passing through 100% worth the stop.

A fabulous buffet! We tried everything and there wasn't one disappointment. I could have stayed there all day eating, it was that good. Plus the service was super friendly and helpful. Loved it!
