Nags Head Pizza Company

A great pizza spot to try! We ordered ahead on the phone to pick up and take home. They have outdoor seating.Few notes about ordering- ordering on the app isn't as easy if you plan to customize, or do half pizza toppings. We decided to call and had no issue getting whatever we wanted. The line to pick up orders can take a bit of a while because of people ordering at the window. Now for the food- we ordered family size salads - the Mediterranean and the caprese. Both were so good and lots to go around. We also ordered two large pizzas, each half different. Three were speciality pizzas from the venue and one was a custom by us. The group favorite was the cottage pie- a bit simple but just done so well. We got two pizza rolls but didn't seem as fresh as the pizza, so will give those another go next time. It's basically a cinnamon roll but made with pizza ingredients. We will be back! Also, the quotes in the boxes are a sweet touch.

Vegan pizza! It wasn't the best I've ever had, but was very good, and in a location with limited vegan options. I'd come back!

Pretty good generic American style pizza (I don't say that as an insult, just that the pizza doesn't conform to any particular region's specialty pizza). I will put in big letters though THEY DON'T HAVE INDOOR SEATING and their tables are not handicap accessible, at best someone in a wheelchair might be able to sit in one of the adirondack chairs on the patio. If you have a big group or someone with mobility issues or the weather is shitty, plan for takeout.We ordered a bunch of pizzas, they were ready pretty quickly, and folks enjoyed them well enough but it's not a must-visit when in town kind of place. I would recommend ordering extra sauce and extra cheese if you do go because neither was abundant. My favorite was the all meats one (Manmaker), I also liked the Sausage Parmesan - I couldn't eat any of the others that people ordered because they were all loaded with fresh basil which most people would like but would put me in the hospital. My vegan friend particularly enjoyed his Haley's Comet though, said it was one of the best pizzas he's had since going vegan.The pizzas are thin crust, and the crust is chewy and not doughy, but I didn't find it super filling. I normally eat two pieces of pizza tops, I ate three large slices and was still a bit hungry.Prices are a bit on the high side like everything else in the area.So - go for takeout or patio dining and if you just want some pretty decent pizza (and aren't super picky) or are vegan, don't go if you want indoor seating or true best-in-class pizza that you'll be talking about after your vacation is over.

Husband and I stopped in for dinner and didn't have to wait long at all for our pizza. Glad we picked a clear night because the only seating is outside. We split the Farmers Market veganized with vegan cheese. It had just enough cheese and the lightest touch of red sauce. If you love a lot of sauce, ask for extra. We also added the vegan pepperoni. It was a nice medium thick crust with tons of veggies. Only complaint is that they wasted a box for use dining in rather than using a reusable tray.

Not being from the area I check yelp for guidance, this spot was on the top. I don't think I was led astray. I ordered half pepperoni half sausage, a cheese pizza and a Little Dipper (cheesy bread). The pizza was tasty from sauce to crust. Pepperoni wasn't limp, the sausage had flavor, each slice had an ample amount of toppings. They have a pickup up window with a little bell if no one is there when you walk up. I also noticed a quaint outdoor eating area as I was driving off. As for staff, if everyone is like the young lady who helped me they are awesome! Added bonus they have merch, cool stickers and if you had a bad day their pizza box quotes are sure to bring a smile to your face. If you're in Nags Head and craving pizza go check them out.

Great vegan pizza. The kids didn't eat their favorite and went in for the vegan. Good crust and quick service.

Delicious Pizza during our Beach Trip, also very nice people. Nice outside, dog friendly area to eat just a walk from the Beach.

Really yummy pizza and the walk up pick up window is great. We added jalapeños to our Hawaiian Pizza and the amount they added was substantial. Yay. Just the right amount of sauce and a tad of grease to feel like a NY pizza!

BLUF: delicious pizza, quick and friendly service, great option for takeout back to your bnb! Loved the crust and the pizza! Give it a try! Will be back. PS get the 16" pizza. It's worth it especially when feeding families with multiple kids.

I had their pizza delivered-they told me 25-30 minutes. I think I had it in 20. It was super hot and one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The pepperoni rolls ere amazing too. Very impressed! Tried to order it last weekend but they weren't open for the season yet.
