Murray Center

The reason why this place received a three is because they're food is excellent. If it wasn't for the food they would receive a 1 star. We recently held a Breakfast at this center and their service was below average. Due to management change they didn't uphold agreed upon things on our contract. We asked for two buffet lines due to the amount of people we had and the time we had the venue for they could not honor that. We arrived the morning of 1) our event name was spelled wrong on the display screen 2) the room was not setup 3) there were unset tables 4) chairs were dirty 5) they let the food run low on the buffet and 6) the parking is horrible. I seriously doubt that we will use this venue again.

Let me start by describing my interactions with the Murray Center. I've been to about 4 events there as a guest and I recently was the organizer of an event at this location . I organized the guest list, center accomadations, and funding. That being said, in this post I will discuss price ,service and quality. The price seemed fair compared to other venues, especially considering that this event was fully catered and they had everything we needed upon arival.Secondly, the service. The event Coordinator, Geri, was very kind ,accomadating, and professional. She was quick to respond to emails and voice messages, which is important becuase I have a hectic schedule. Last but not least, the food/room quality. The food was fantastic. Everyone at the event raived about the food qaulity. Also, the room was clean and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. I needed assistance with logistics at the last minute and they were more than willing to help .Overall, Great experience. We will be back in the spring.
