This is a gem I've frequented many times, and it never disappoints. Typically, I visit for lunch, but recently, I went for dinner on a bustling Friday night, and it was a fantastic experience. Despite how busy it was, the service remained warm, welcoming, and attentive--a real testament to the staff's professionalism and friendliness. The atmosphere was lively yet inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual night out. I love their music and at 8pm they started a live band. The menu offers classic Irish dishes, and I always find myself torn between the Shepherd's Pie and the Irish Stew--both are excellent! This time, I went for the Shepherd's Pie, which was flavorful and comforting as always. My companion had the stew, and while we noticed the recipe seemed slightly different, we still thoroughly enjoyed it. The flavors remain hearty and satisfying, perfect for a chilly evening or when you're in the mood for comfort food. One standout feature of Murphy's is their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients--they even have their own oyster farm! This unique touch ensures their seafood dishes are top-notch and locally sourced, making it a must-try if you're a fan of oysters or seafood in general. Another perk is their game day specials, which add extra value if you're a sports fan looking for a great spot to eat, drink, and watch the action. The only minor drawback is that valet parking at night can feel unnecessary, especially since there's a convenient parking garage right across the street. But it's a small inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Overall, Murphy's is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Irish fare in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's lunch, dinner, or a game day outing, this pub delivers every time. Highly recommend!

This place adds other people's entire tabs to your check if they know you've been drinking Very slick The young bartenders drink while they work and act erratic I told the bartender that I would buy a lady a glass of wine and I ended up paying her entire tabTold the manager the next day of the incident and she did nothing but listen to meI won't be back Joey

We were in town for the weekend. We were looking for a spot that was playing the Thursday night football game. Not only was Murphys playing the game, they also had pretty awesome food.We were able to walk there from our oceanfront hotel (super convenient). They have an outdoor bar with TVs which is perfect for agreeable weather. They also had a great band playing live.We chose to sit inside because it was a little chilly. The inside bar has large screen tvs and played the sound for the game. Our bartender was more than accommodating. Neither of us had authentic Irish food so we were pretty excited. I ordered the shepherd's pie and he ordered fish and chips The food was pretty good, but let me pause to highlight the chips. What in the world?! They werent fries, they werent wedges, they werent potato chips....I dont know what they were or how they cooked them but they were the best crisp potatoes ever.

HUGE shout out to Connor the best waiter we've ever had there! What a great guy! He was able to answer every single menu item question, food allergy question, ingredient question, and made amazing recommendations for local events to attend, drinks, and deaserts there! If you haven't had their Irish egg rolls, house made mustard, bangers and mash, Ruben, she crab soup, or signature cocktails you just aren't living. Amazing Irish food! Great music at night too.My family eats at Murphys 2-5 times a year (because we're from NY), we'd eat there more if we could! It's a yearly traditional to eat there since my relatives found Murphys in like 2008.Murphy it up!

Visited here on a Saturday 12/02/2023 to celebrate my sister's birthday. She wanted to somewhere with live music and Wonderland was playing and I knew she would love them.We got there around 8p and it wasn't crowded yet, we were able to get a four top that was near the kitchen and was a perfect spot to watch the band and hangout. Our waitress Jessica was busy but she did great considering how busy it got when the night went on and my drink was never empty.I ordered the Jameson Baked Oysters and the Fish & Chips. I read previous reviews that these were really good but I unfortunately found them to be a little dry and the oysters to be a small. The fish & chips dish came with cottage fries which I had no clue what those were I thought they were gonna be waffle fries but they were not and they were nice crispy addicting pieces of fried potatoes that I could not stop eating. The fish is Cod and looked to be fried quite nicely and a few bites were but after a while I noticed that the batter was not quite cooked near the middle, which I ended up just eating the batter that crispy. Not sure I would get that again and will probably try something else next time.I also had a half of an Irish Egg roll and that was very tasty and will definitely make sure to order that next time I visit. It was fun Saturday night and Murphy's was rocking!

Looking for a party spot for the older crowd- this is a good bet. Really good live music outdoors daily. If you want a more quiet meal- dine in. Food is fairly standard fare for Irish pub. Prices are reasonable. Happy hour bites are a deal so get there before 7 M-F. I ordered pretty basic- steamed shrimp and Guinness on draft. Wife liked their award winning she-crab soup. They have an "Irish Nachos" starter that is a good pick as well. Service (including valet parking) is friendly and prompt.

I had brunch at Murphys with a friend on a rainy Sunday. Murphys is a great Irish pub type atmosphere that offers traditional pub foods, live music, and a good assortment of cocktails and beers. Their brunch menu is very affordable and has traditional brunch items. The "monster mimosa" is only $3!We arrived at 1000 and it was busy, our waitress was kind and explained that she had several large groups of people who are part of a running club that she was also taking care of. Only reason I can't give Murphy's 5 stars is the food was on the colder side but overall we had a great experience and will return but probably only for drinks.

Nice restaurant and bar. Zach W was my server and he was polite, attentive and engaging. He answered questions about the menu and also had a minute to chat. I was by myself for dinner in the off season so he took the opportunity to make me feel welcome. They have a large bar and a fireplace in the middle of restaurant. I was seated next to the fireplace which was nice on a cold night in February. I had the fish and chips. It was very good. And the beers were cold. I would definitely go there again when I'm in town for business.
