Mudita Cafe & Coffeehouse

Love this cute spot! They do online orders, were communicative about waiting until I arrived to add the finishing touches to keep my drink warm, and are open to all people.They have lots of lattes, including all kinds of dairy & non-dairy options to our inside. Definitely a good spot for a coffee & pastry or just a coffee on the go.

Yelp asked what went well. Everything went well greeted as soon as I entered. The place is very cute. I went for a candle making class. The cafe was all set up for the event. The ticket for the event included a drink so I got a espresso martini suck my thing I love espresso martinis the owner who happened to be there made my espresso martini and she did a great job visually it was beautiful and as good as it looked better. I also had her make a tiramisu espresso martini for our instructor because she informed me that it's her favorite hers looks so beautiful that I ended up ordering myself was just as good if not better than the first one . They have a menu. It's a small menu for some food like snacks and sandwiches. I would definitely come back again to enjoy coffee and a pastry. Or even a cocktail. I really hope that they do more classes in the future because I definitely would come back . FYI, if you decide to go, please know there is on Street parking and there's also a shopping center directly across the street. Even better than downtown parking is free.Thank you so much for hosting such a great event I look forward to more in the future.

I have visited this place many times prior to my visit today and have always had good encounters. Today however, I cannot say I had a positive experience. I struggle with severe social anxiety when I'm out on my own which makes ordering a bit overwhelming. I came in with the intention of ordering a single espresso shot in a cup so I could prepare it myself at home. I looked over at the laminated menu at first just to see if anything else caught my eye. I opted out and asked for an espresso in a 16oz cup, the woman at the register then gave me a look and said "a latte?" I repeated that I wanted an espresso in a 16oz cup and again she continued to repeat a latte, then said "there is no espresso 16oz" With a mocking look and tone. That shot my anxiety up completely and I became overwhelmed. Feeling flustered, I gave in and asked her for oat milk. I felt defeated into getting a latte due to her persistence. She then laughed and said "yeah that's a latte"I'm sure if I wanted a latte I would have asked for a latte to begin with. I may just be feeling a tad emotional today however I do feel like the woman at the register could have been more considerate in how she asked for clarification on my order. I also over heard my name being repeated multiple times between the staff as I waited. Not sure if it was just out of simple communication or if I was being talked about but given the uncomfortable feeling I was already experiencing, it only added to my anxiety. The coffee is great and the shop is clean, welcoming for people who would like to study, work or read. I hope that if I decide to revisit in the future, the service is redeemed. All I ask is for staff to be more considerate of how they speak to people.

Mudita Cafe & Coffeehouse always has something new to for us to try. With their rotating seasonal drinks, unique blends and limited time offers, I feel like every experience there is uniquely worth it. My fiancée and I are always happy to take part in their local events, community efforts and live performances because their quality never wavers. The folks who own and operate this establishment do it with love. Their workers seem relaxed and are always friendly and patient, ready to answer every question. There's plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, with an accent wall for any instagrammable moment. I'd rather support this local small business than its corporate competitors any day. Delicious as usual. Today I thought that I would try The Goat. This sandwich comes toasted with Turkey, avocado, goat cheese, red pepper jam and crunchy kettle chips on the side. This sandwich is delicious and the ingredients go well together. I tried the blackberry and sage tea hot, loved it. I think I'll try it cold next time.

This has become our go to spot to grab a carry out breakfast and head across the HRBT. I alternate between the rocket and the comet sandwich while my wife always sticks with the breakfast burrito. Sometimes it's coffee and sometimes it's cold mocha that we order with our breakfast. it's all good. PS:They also offer a selection of cocktails.

Very pricey. Extremely pricey! But the food is great and the customer service is top notch. Both indoor and outdoors seating with dogs being okay on the patio. The inside has a normal restaurant feeling to it but they also have a spot for instagram worthy shots.

I tried two coffees here. Black coffee was better for me than the lattes. I would not return for the coffee. I would return for the excellent service and relaxed vibe of the place. Right across from the beach, good vibes. You can def take your laptop and work here with no issue.

Mudita is a cute cafe to have some coffee, do some work, or catch up with the friend. The service is great unfortunately the food was not quite what we were expecting. definitely wouldn't come here expecting wonderful food, the bacon was the microwaveable kind. No photos bc the food truly wasn't worth the picture sorry.

Cute cafe close to the water that also doubles as a bar. They sell a variety of drinks and food with plenty of comfy seating spots. They also sell coffee beans for the folks that want to grind their own beans!
