Moyock Pizza Kitchen

I don't know why we don't come here more often. It's actually closer than alot of places in our home city of Chesapeake.We dropped off my brother's car for some collision with a deer work at Graham's and they were close and we were hungry. I didn't get a chance to peruse the menu in detail so I followed hubby's order by also getting the meatball sub with fries. Y'all, those meatballs were so chock full of flavor, I could have had just those and been 5 star happy. We both loved the toasted bread and the battered fries. I thought at first there wouldn't be enough fries but after my first meatball sub bite, the fries were actually after thoughts. I ate as many of the fries as I could and brought the rest home for our dogs.As for my delectable, flavorful meatball sub, I didn't even get a 1/4 of the way of my half size sub. Sometimes you can get too much marinara/tomato sauce that it drowns out everything else. That was not the case here. There was just enough to coat the meatballs and remind you that homemade always tastes better than jar sauce.They do a bang up take out service. We arrived here around 330 & while the cook time wait seemed long, it was worth it. There were alot of orders ahead of us and with every take out order, my desire for my sub grew with each, unique and different smell.If you're in Moyock and hungry, don't neglect your taste buds and get yourself a sub. Their pizzas are great too!

Living in the OBX, I searched for a pizza joint worth trying while traveling home. I found Moyock Pizza on Yelp! The restaurant is located in a stand alone strip mall off a "feeder street". Upon entering we were warmly greeted by the front counter staff to sit wherever we wished. What they neglected to tell us was you must place your order at the counter and retrieve your plates, silverware yourselves. The fountain machine is a "serve yourself" setup as well. Unfortunately we chose a table and sat waiting for someone to take our order. A couple came over and clued us in to the "the way" after they themselves had sat for over 15 minutes before they were aware. We ordered sodas and 2Large pizzas, a pepperoni & all pepperoni 1/2 green pepper & 1/2 mushroom. The pizzas were delivered relatively fast! The pepperoni only pizza was "perfection", nice NY style with chewy/crisp crust . The other pizza was a bit disappointing, the inner circumference crust was soaking wet (actually sitting in a pool of greasy water). I believe it was the fresh veges that released their water while cooking. I cut away the wet parts and enjoyed the outer edges, my husband opted for the pepperoni only pizza, he was very disappointed given the price. The delivery aspect is super busy, so definitely a popular place! Yes we would stop in again, but opt for the pepperoni only pizza!

I came here with my mom, hubby, and son for dinner on a Saturday evening. The lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. After telling her this was our first time, she gave us a menu and told us to sit down and just come up when we were ready. We ordered a cauliflower Hawaiian pizza, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and a small pepperoni pizza. I ordered a mushroom and sausage calzone. My calzone was delicious! Oh, we also ordered garlic knots and these were the best. It was soaked in garlic butter and garlic and just made our mouths happy. We also ordered a small Greek salad and a small chef salad. It was just okay. I'm very impressed with this restaurant! We definitely will be back!Also, I received a 10% coupon when I checked in on Yelp. Great service. Very clean.

We order here often! Our favorite is the Philly Special! We do both pick up and delivery..They deliver surprisingly far out, and never take too long. Food is quality and consistent! Last time we dined in, the service was so personable! They gave my daughter a big chunk of dough to play with while we waited for our pizza! Love this local spot

I was traveling through NC April 2024 and stopped at this place off the hwy. I ordered a stromboli, it was gargantuan. The pepperoni was extraordinary, nothing I had ever tasted. I took the rest to my hotel in VA, then I drove it all the way home to FL, it was that delicious. This little place is a gem, the food and service were fantastic.

I finally had a chance to order pizza from here and I just saw the reviews are very accurate. I didn't even get a chance to take pictures because I ate it so fast!The thin crust pizza that I ordered was the best thin crust that I've ever had in my life. It wasn't hard like most are, it was soft and very flavorful and hot. The other pizza that I ordered was very good also! I also tried the French fries, they were flavorful. The only thing I might change in the future is getting them extra crispy but they were very good.The online ordering system was quick and easy and the delivery driver was very polite. I will definitely be ordering again soon!

This place has gotten much better since the initial change from several years ago. Food is great and service was nice inside.

I really want to like their pizza because they are a local spot and the people and place is awesome. We have tried multiple different pizza multiple different times. I'm feeding a family of 6 so it's usually 3 pizzas minimum. The price does not turn me off, it's expected. What gets me is I can't seem to find a pizza that isn't a soggy mess. Regardless if you ask for it well done, extra crispy. The pizza just doesn't hold together. You end up loosing most of the toppings just pulling it out of the box. Again, I really want to like this place but is hard to. No other options locally unfortunately.

No matter if it's delivery or going in and picking up our pizza, the staff is always fantastic. Best pizza I've had in the United States. (Sorry Italy has everyone beat haha). Love this place and will always order pizza from here!

The customer service here is always fantastic! The food is delicious and consistent. The restaurant and facilities are always very clean! They have an open kitchen so you can see the pizzas being made and how tidy they keep the kitchen and staff while prepping the food! Everything about this place keeps us coming back! We come here, or order at least once a week. We love it!!
