Coffee Shop No. 408Morning View Coffee House Nags Head, NCSeptember 5, 2024As my son pulled into the parking lot the first thing that came to mind was, "What a bright happy color?" Morning View Coffee House is painted a a turquoise blueish color with white trim. I couldn't wait to get inside.The moment you step through the front door you are greeted by a roasting machine. I went to the shop very early and the coffee roaster was in operation. I always feel lucky to see the magic of roasting. Plus, it always smells lovely.The barista was incredibly friendly. She not only engaged with me but also with everyone who walked in the door. Then she made a tasty cortado for me and I pretty much became a fan. If I were a local I could definitely see myself hanging out Morning View Coffee House on a regular basis.

This local coffee shop is attached to a candy store - but it is truly its own space! I think it's a hidden gem! There is tons of art and merch around to browse and enjoy, along with the inviting spots to sit and work. Service was friendly and kind, they move the line along pretty well. I only wish the menu was easier to read so I could decide earlier while waiting in line! Since it's on a screen, the font is very small. I had an iced London fog, and was kinda underwhelmed, but willing to go back and try more. I really loved the spinach and feta pastry as well as the chocolate chip muffin we tried! Fresh and high quality for sure.EDIT: went back later in the week and got an iced chai and it was DELIGHTFUL! So happy I went again, and got more pastries to try too :)

We visited so many coffee shops on the Outer Banks and this one was, by far, our favorite. The Barista was super sweet and happy to chat with us about local spots. The coffee was the best of any places we tried! We bought a bag to bring home and have enjoyed it every morning since getting back - it's really delicious coffee!! I strongly recommend the coconut Mac nut cookie which had a macaroon flavor to it that I loved. And of course the inside of the coffee house is gorgeous with the artwork and that huge tropical painting! Be sure to check out their shirts too. They have an adorable surfing golden retriever design that I couldn't resist.

Coffee is so good! They have a range of unique flavors and flavored whipped cream! The shop itself is cute and also sells some local made things. If you're visiting the area I definitely recommend! Workers were also very nice, which makes a big difference. 10/10!

Cute coffee shop on Nags Head Island in the Outer Banks. I stopped by early morning before the sun came up and was grateful that it opened earlier than some of the other shops nearby. There wasn't a huge selection of food items when I went, but the cup of (self-serve) black coffee that I ordered was good and reasonably priced. The space is lovely and full of Outer Banks energy. The barista was friendly. Nice coffee spot, for sure.

This coffee house is so cute! Great aesthetic and vibe inside, with friendly baristas and a lot of variety on the menu. I ordered a sugar free mocha with almond milk and it was just okay...the almond milk flavor overpowered the chocolate in my opinion. My husband enjoyed his drink though and I would try something without almond milk next time, as there are plenty of options. I did buy an awesome, hand crafted mug to take home as a souvenir which I love! :)

This cute little gem is adorable, aesthetically pleasing. The staff was friendly and when I asked for their opinion on a drink was able to provide me some feedback. I think it's fairly priced for what you get and it being in OBX. I love that they have local artist items for sale for you to purchase! My favorite part is the two golden dogs that are around and are friendly

Cute spot, good coffee and pastries. Staff were really nice! We ended up going here a few times because we liked it so much!

2024 update - Still amazing coffee and great vibes. Our go to for drinks and ground coffee to take home for the beach house. Breakfast sandwiches are really nice as well - bagels with bacon and egg. Well worth it.

I wish I could copy and paste this charming cafe into my hometown so I could drink it daily. Such a cool vibe but their COFFEE IS OUTSTANDING. I'm a coffee snob, I want to taste the coffee with their additional flavors ins te as of just cream and sugar. They balance the coffee and flavors perfectly. Also, as someone that doesn't tolerate too much caffeine, they have half caffeine options and it tastes JUST like full caff (usually other places are weak when doing half caff.) It was so good we went back the following day.The barista was super friendly and sweet and very welcoming. 10/10 recommend!
