Don't waste your time. The service was mediocre, the food was subpar at best. We left disappointed.

"If you knew betta, you'd do betta!"$25 for "these" 5 sides (rice, plantains, mac & cheese & yams)!Is this EVEN two ounces!!!C'mon Montego! Not a good look.Fix this.... Quick, fast & in a hurry.

I've always enjoyed Montego Grill, the food never disappoints and always tastes great. Last night, we called in to place an order for two Jerk Chicken Dinners. Since my boyfriend doesn't eat pork, we inquired if pork was in the Greens and they told us that they don't put any meat in their vegetables so he ordered the Greens and Mac & Cheese with his dinner and I ordered the Candied Yams and Mac & Cheese with mine. When we arrived to pick up our food, the restaurant was very clean and had a few people dining in. Our food was ready as soon as we arrived. Their Beef Patties were on display and looked very appetizing so we ordered two of them. The cakes also looked mouthwatering so the lady suggested we try the Carrot Cake. We spent about $45 for everything which wasn't too bad.Since we wanted a light amount of jerk sauce, they provided the sauce in separate containers for us to pour on our chicken. My meal came with about two legs, a thigh and another smaller piece of chicken but my boyfriend's dinner seemed to have mostly chicken backs which included more bones than meat, he was not very happy about that. The Jerk Chicken tasted amazing though. The Jerk sauce wasn't too spicy and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The Mac & Cheese wasn't all that great and I didn't enjoy the Candied Yams, they needed more sugar. The Greens also weren't that great and had a sweet taste to them. The Beef Patties were a 10/10 and even though the lady said they were mild, they still had a very slight level of spiciness to them. The Carrot Cake was also pretty good but it included raisins, which I hate, so I had to eat around them.When we return, we will definitely be checking our order if we decide to do "take out" to ensure the pieces of chicken are sufficient but overall, the chicken was wonderful!

We ordered two goat roti to go and they were not good. The meat was all fat and the roti skin was not cooked fully. That is the only thing we order and now they have lost two customers.

THEY'RE SCAMMERS!!!!!! So I ordered via doordash. I ordered OXTAIL stew which is $29 with greens. Then, I received my plate which is incorrect. They gave me Chicken curry with plantains and beans w/rice which is $14.90. I called the establishment because they charged me $29 bucks. The person who answered me was rude and unprofessional, also that hanged up on me. No apologies, nothing. I won't order here again.

I don't like giving bad reviews but I was disappointed with my red snapper escovitch and brown stew! I didnt see any sauce so the waitress suggested to bring some brown sauce on the side. The sauce was watered down and tasted rather sweet. First time at this location, I would frequent the location on Newton Road back in the day. Although I was comparing it to The Original Coleys in Sherman Oaks, CA. I am surprised that it doesn't come close to being my choice for Caribbean Cruise in 757.

The best Caribbean food!! The roti and ox tails are my go-to, as well as the Mac and cheese. Desserts are good as well. I typically call my order in and pick up. There is a dine-in option but I have not tried that yet.

I have always enjoyed Montego Grill, however my last two visits there were not good experiences. I ordered jerk chicken (white meat) which costs a little more, rice and peas, plantains. I got my food to go when I got home with it, I was so disappointed. The chicken had been microwaved it was so hard it was not edible. The plantains I ordered were not in my to go order so I called the restaurant to speak to a manager. The manager was very nice offered me a free meal next time I went in. I went to redeem the free meal about 3 weeks later. I was denied a meal that was equal to what I had ordered the first time.I am very disappointed in that the manager did not hold up her end of the agreement to replace my meal. Even more disappointed that the food was not good the second time around. I will not be eating at Montego Grill again.

Quality of food drops drastically in the evening especially before closing. I ordered 2 jerk chicken dinners and they appear to be made at different times if thats possible. In one meal the chicken is undercooked and the sauce was everywhere (most likely from delivery). The greens were old and full of stems. The second meal had the sauce on the side and greens looked fresh. In both meals the sauce was not very flavorful. Ive had great food before but there seems to be a pattern in the poor quality late in the evening
