First trip here today browsing for mandolins, thinking there was no way we'd find an affordable one for a beginner. SO glad we stopped in here. Chuck is so friendly and knowledgeable. There was absolutely no pressure to buy at all, but it was a great deal. Our kid is thrilled!We'll be back - the kid needs lessons! Support your local small business!

It's been a long time since I was in Moe's. The place smells like an old garage or a hard ware store. :) Scent aside they have great customer service here. This isn't a volume selling business like Guitar Center or Alpha and they concentrate on a more personable experience with lots of lessons offered, repairs and such.You can find them in the Pinewood Shoppes on Va. I was given my first drum set from Moe's Music and now I am professional drummer. Thanks for helping my dreams come true, Moe's! They are super friendly, very knowledgeable and they've got lots of cool gear. And if they don't have it they will find it for you. Highly recommended!

Can service almost every instrument. Since Moe is a musician himself, for over 35 years, he's great to get ideas from. Reasonable prices. Good location. Varied selection to choose from or he can special order.

I came into Moe's looking to trade my 50 year old Bach Stradivarius trumpet for a bass guitar for my son. I quickly realized that I was in a very cool music shop. Between Chuck, the owner, the music teachers that were around, and professional customers there was a lot of music being discussed and played. I felt Chuck gave me a fair trade on my trumpet and was very friendly to work with throughout the deal. I highly recommend this small but musical business to anyone in need of instruments, accessories, or instruction.
