Mochi & Mochi

I miss California at times when it comes to certain foods and mochi donuts is one of those things so I was very happy when I found we have one in Newport NewsMochi and Mochi is a kiosk that's actually located inside of the farm fresh international market I did get there after work and at the end of the day so I expected the selection of donuts to be smaller. But I was very pleased that they had Black Sesame which is one of my favorites! I also tried the Milk Tea and it's so cute it comes in a can which made it very nice so that I could still run some errands and not open it until I got home and not worry about anything spilling. I will definitely will go back

These were sooooo tasty. We went late in the day and the mochi donuts were still very yummy. Delicious boba tea as well, tho I do wish there was the option for a dairy/lactose free milk. Will absolutely be going back earlier in the day another time to try more options!

This donut shop is inside an international market! I was actually looking for boba tea and found this place also had donuts. I read reviews and decided to try the black sesame donut. It is an interesting flavor but still pretty good. I also bought a strawberry one because it's my fave! It was absolutely delicious and moist. I would definitely go earlier in the day to try the sold out flavors.

Any time there's a chance to try a different boba place, I'm there! It was a bonus knowing there were also mochi donuts. Situated inside an international market, this store offers mochi donuts, bubble tea, tea, coffee, smoothies, and more. The staff were readily available and patient while I placed my order for four. The mochi donuts were spectacular! Both the texture and flavor were just right. I would say that mochi donuts are their specialty. The black bubble tea I ordered lacked flavor and the boba didn't have the right texture. It could use some improvement. Overall, a great place for mochi donuts and a quick drink.

The best doughnuts I have EVER had in my life. It is Mochi doughnuts. A total smash up between a doughnut and Mochi. They are that light wonderful doughnut with that Mochi texture inside. The flavors are wonderful too. The perfect amount of sweetness and LOTs of flavors. Even the weird sounding ones like watermelon is simply amazing. The Ube is so good I could eat a dozen. They are also pretty. They make them look so cool. Just look at the pictures. The Matcha boba was ok. They make it in an interesting see through can configuration. That part is pretty neat but the flavor was a little chaulky. I would suggest getting a different drink. not this one in particular.You must try the MOCHI doughnuts and more than one flavor. I personally get a 3 pack atleast.

I'm so glad I found this place. The doughnuts are yummy, especially the black sesame. I know it sounds like an odd combo, but it's so good! I also tried the ube dug but and churro doughnut. The churro had good flavor and definitely tasted like it's name. The ube bubble tea was a little too sweet - I thought I asked for 50% sweetness, but I'll have to do 25% next time. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located in the Farm Fresh in the back near Rod ice. I got there later in the day, but will have to go back earlier to see all of the varieties.

We stopped by on our way home to Maryland and so glad we did. I saw some positive reviews by fellow Yelpers Lisa O., and Yoonie and I just knew I really ought to visit. Omg I was blown away by how delicious everything was. What in the heck?!?!?! I've had mochi donuts in my area before but none quite so delicious. The texture and flavor of the donuts were absolutely delectable. It was subtly sweet and had the most perfect balance of chewiness and fluffiness. You just ought to try one. You won't regret it. I'm also a terrible boba drink critic. BUT I WHOLEHEARTEDLY ENDORSE THEIRS!! Oh my word. The package is super cute and my drink was just right. Not too sweet. Not too much ice. Not too little or too much boba. Everything was......dare I say.....perfect! I'm not used to it! If you live in the area and/or drive through 64 from Newport News to VB/Norfolk, it is absolutely a great pit stop to make. Trust me. It will be a worthwhile detour to make.

The drinks were good, packaged with a flip top lid instead of the normal film cover. Many drink and mochi donut choices. It was a sweet and different, would try again. Service was friendly. Place is located within the international market with a few bar seats to eat in.

I love the Ube boba and the mochi doughnuts here! It's a special treat when I'm on that side of town and am able to stop in and grab a boba and doughnut. My favorite flavor is the black sesame. Something about it is just sooo good! The churro was a bit sweet for my taste, but still good. I love the texture inside. So soft and pillowy. The can top for the tea is easy to drink from if you decide not to use the straw. I come here every now and again... and I don't know if it's a fluke, but both times I've been rang up for one extra doughnut. The first time I asked for two, and she rang me up for 3. I didn't notice until I paid and asked for the extra doughnut instead of my money back. She'd already given me my two, but I chalked it up as a mistake, which happens. The last time, it had been awhile since I stopped by. I only ordered one and she rang me up for two. I saw it this time and it took a little bit before she understood. She only got me one donut this time...so it made me give a little side eye. Just make sure you're only rang up for what you want.

A hidden gem for insanely delicious donuts and boba tea tucked into the Farm Fresh supermarket. We tried one of every flavor offered and did not find a single one we didn't like. The donuts are perfect for sharing and tearing into bite-sized servings. The dough is light and fluffy and the icing adds a yummy sweet topping. My top 3 favorites were the Coffee, Nutella, and matcha flavors by far. On a whim I also decided to try boba tea for the first time. The Coffee bubble tea was 10/10. They make each bubble tea fresh and can it right away, giving you a sturdy way to carry it on the go! I can't wait to go back for more.
