My food was pretty good today. I ordered veggie lomein, shrimp roll & chicken wings. I highly recommend the lomein & the egg roll. They're not oily and always taste fresh.

I've lived in the area since 2009 and would randomly pass by the area that Ming's resides in, most of the time when I'd take a wrong turn out of the mall, but I never gave it a shot. Well, apparently I've been messing up. This place is delicious!!! The food is fast and tastes great. I had the Hunan Chicken and had to save some since I filled up so fast. The staff was friendly and quick with taking the order. Just tell them what you want and presto, it's being made without really confirming that you're picking it up from them. So dump the chains, and hit up this hidden in plain view treasure chest of Chinese deliciousness!!

I would give it a solid 5/5 just for the vegetable egg rolls alone. They're honestly the best I've ever had probably in my life. Sometimes they can taste a little oily, but the flavor overall makes me not care. The crispness, the thickness, the flavors, it all just makes me want to eat 10 of them. The egg drop soup is pretty mediocre, I recommend the hot and sour soup instead. It's very tame in spice level in case you were worried, and it also has meat in it and is a meat based broth, in case you're vegetarian. The soups also all come with wonton chips you can put in it. They're pretty flavorless, but add a nice texture to the dish. The vegetable pancit is really nice, I have no idea what it's supposed to taste like seeing as I've only had it from here, but it tastes oily and good to me. The flavors all vibe together well. The lo-mein noodles are a bit chewy in my opinion, not really my thing, but my dad seems to enjoy it. I'm gonna try more things from here seeing as it's so close to home, I love chinese, and the food portions are really good. I definitely recommend coming here, despite it's dated look, the food really is worth it!

Apparently this place is a community staple and to me the staple must have been used or broken. I checked out some reviews to be fair, but was not feeling the look inside. I mean one door was blocked from being open, the kitchen was a bit messy, and it just wasn't an inviting place for a sit down experience. The food was alright in quality. I ordered a soup which was warm and the entree was rather full in the container but needed more seasoning. It was worth a try just not a place I'd wanna try again.

Food was ok, thought it was a real restaurant. NOT! Take out joint with bank level security. Get robbed much?

Hole in the wall for sure but honestly the only Chinese food that doesn't make my stomach upset. They also PACK in the portions and it's a great deal, my wife and I eat here almost weekly but definitely call ahead and try the chicken and shrimp combo plate.

Do not let the appearance fool you - food is good for the price. You can't go wrong here for exactly what you'd expect - inexpensive Chinese food with a healthy portion.

I ordered Shrimp lo mein, chicken with garlic sauce plate and steamed dumplings. I'll start with the low hanging fruit, the steamed dumplings are delicious! There is just a little bit of sweetness in the soy sauce that comes with it that makes them perfect. Can't stop eating them! The garlic chicken plate is a great deal that will serve two hungry adults!

Ming's Chinese has the best Chinese food in Virginia Beach! No matter what you order it is always delicious! Have been going to Ming's for many, many years. My favorites are Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Dumplings, and Singapore Pancit! As you can see I like hot and spicy food! No matter what you order though you will always find it to be very tasty. The people who work here are very friendly and, of course, extremely hard-working! Highly recommend Ming's! You will definitely enjoy the food!
