Miami Fusion Cuban Bakery & Bistro

Been hearing about this place and I finally got here. The place is nice, clean and a crowd fave. Though I came upon a time with few people that it wasn't that crowded. I'm happy I get to meet the beautiful cashier and the big chef. Both are so nice and accommodating. They have my favorite cheese and guava pastries. I bought 6. They have sandwiches and empanadas. They also have fried yucas. Oh, the flavors of my sandwich with the avocado is Muy excellent. They also told me that they are having Letchon tomorrow Saturday. I'm so excited. I enjoy most is the delight of my children when they saw the guava & cheese pastries. We will definitely come back for more. Thank you Chef.

I went to Miami Fusion during their soft opening. The staff was friendly and helpful and let us know the store was still working out kinks. I like the thought of this place but currently it is not up to par. The grill was not cleaned as often as it needed to be, and the cooking oil looked old. After seeing the condition of the grill and oil I declined ordering anything from the menu and bought a few baked goods. The Guava and Coconut pastelitos were in my all time top 5 pastries. Very tasty.

12 dollars!!!! I was really disappointed with Miami Fusion. I ordered the empanadas, expecting something special for the price they charge, but they were underwhelming. They were no bigger than a hot pocket, and honestly, just didn't feel worth the price. I'm all for paying more if the quality or portion justifies it, but that wasn't the case here. Flavor was okay, but nothing memorable. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you're looking for value. DONT ORDER HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY!!

Miami fusion food truck came to my job and I tried their crab empanada which was FILLED with real crab meat no filler and it was seasoned well. I also got their churros with guava sauced. Loved the guava sauce. Service was decent.

I'm originally from South Florida, which sets the bar high when it comes to Empanadas. Miami Fusion's rival some of those I've had back in Florida. We checked out this stand at the East Beach Farmer's Market one Saturday morning, and it was apparent from the long line that the food was good. The service was friendly and speedy, and varieties were plentiful - vegetarian, pescatarian, and meat options were available. Since we're in CoVa, I would have opted for the crabcake empanada had they not already run out - next time! Instead, we got two of the Cuban Pork (may as well be authentic, right?).Although it took a bit of time, I was happy to see they were made fresh and on-site. Everything from the assembly to the frying was done before us. When we finally got them, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they weren't greasy at all, rather crispy and flaky. They sure didn't skimp on the pork filling, which was juicy and flavorful. The creamy sauce (reminiscent of a curry mustard) was a nice addition. These were reasonably priced for the amount of food - the owner even threw a gratis empanada in here and there for some other customers who I had seen waiting a bit longer than us (to be fair, their empanadas were being made fresh :) ).We look forward to returning; this time, hopefully in time to snag a crabcake one!

stopped by the farmers market and saw the truck. the empanadas are made to order and they are stuffed and so delicious. not sure how they are priced but they are almost $7 each. regardless its worth it.

Food was amazing the staff were very friendly and accommodating. 100% recommend trying their food!!! The restaurant its self was very clean the music matched the experience. Overall 10/10.

Stood 30 minutes in line because they screwed up everyone's order....For them to tell me they're out of Phillys. How do you run out of a phillly steak 30 minutes before you close. No apology by the cashier, just said " you should've came earlier"... Horrible service save your money

I've eaten here 3 times. Empanadas are moist and extremely flavorful. Plus the sauce and salsa on top are fantastic. Yesterday I had the Miami Philly. I've never had that high quality of tender steak on a Philly . And again the flavor was outstanding.

We ordered from their food truck at the Talbot Park Farmer's Market. We really weren't hungry at all but... Cuban food!!! We had to try it. So we ordered the Cuban pork empanada. The flavor of the pork was perfect, truly authentic. We're looking forward to coming again - hungry this time - so that we can order a nice variety. I only wish this was one of those trucks that is available **somewhere** more frequently. I'd be more than willing to drive a bit to get food this good.
