Mellow Mushroom Virginia Beach

Loved our Mellow Mushroom experience. We were seated immediately as a party of 7. Get the red sangria ! The calzones and salads are amazing. Taylor was GREAT! When you go, ask for her!

Absolutely delicious. I've been to several different, mellow mushrooms around the country, and this was a really good location.Our food was fresh and hot, and the prices were right. Spinach was delicious! Pizza is always great! The ambience inside was really cool, tons of mushroom murals, as well as an amazing Mural on the outside of the building. Our waitress was really nice, as well as the woman who sat Ass down for our table. She accommodated us due to having a stroller. Definitely stop by if you're looking for some pizza and other cool options as well.

Mellow mushroom has some of the best pizza in the area. The wait staff have always been pleasant, there is indoor and outdoor seating (both of which have a great ambiance), and the food always tastes fresh. There are 3 sizes to choose from for your pizza: small, medium, or large. Keep in mind that the "small" size is enough for at least two meals, as slices are generous. Large is enough to feed a few people. Medium is somewhere in between. Their Greek salad is also quite good, though I would recommend choosing their Esperanza dressing over the one the salad is served with- just trust me. :)

We absolutely loved this pizza place! As we walked up to it, we were impressed by that beautiful globe on their outside patio. Then, we walked into the restaurant to see a large, inviting, modern space. The service is also excellent! We were so glad that we could pick 2 totally different flavors in halves on a same pizza. We got a Holy Shitaki/meat lovers. Everything about that pizza is delicious, the crust, sauce and toppings! They also have many option in drinks. The blue berry lemonade is very refreshing. We will definitely be back!

Grease, Grease, Grease!Pizza is ok but way too much grease. Wings don't waste your money. I have had three types of wings, to kinds of pizza and a hoagie and if you like grease this may be your place. For me, no... I went here yesterday and did a to go order today as a second chance and I have nothing good to say.

Second visit to this location. During both visits the pizza was on point. Crispy crust, tasty toppings. Service was a bit slow, but not bad enough to warrant a lower rating. Will definitely return.

My first experience with Mellow Mushroom was when we visited Lynchburg VA (just a month prior) and was very impressed. I had no idea a Mellow Mushroom was here and was excited to compare and see what we had to offer. Upon arrival, seeing the outside paintings, globe and vibe definitely kept on par with the vibe at Lynchburg. The inside I felt was a bit smaller and not as "hip" as Lynchburg but still very cool if you didn't have the comparison fresh in the mind. Where I felt this would shine is the outside bar and seating. Being this is the beach, I could see that being an awesome atmosphere to have great pizza, craft brews and cocktails while soaking up the sun. I felt this vibe was a bit better than the other location however both being awesome in their own right while keeping the "Mellow Mushroom" vibes going regardless of where you visit. The pizza was fantastic here I must add. The waiter was awesome as well. What was his name? Had glasses, very personable., just good all around. He told us about mix matching any pizza which blew our minds and didn't know that at the other location. We mixed a meat lovers type with a chicken pizza one and it was the bomb!!! Definitely felt the pizza was done better here. We now have a place to satisfy that pizza crave when we want "GOOD pizza"! Was so glad we visited and can't wait to check it out when the outside is open. A must visit!

Great for kids. The Cobb salad was one of the best I've ever had. It was very fresh and had avocado. The wings were OK. But the pizza looked and smelled really good. Next time I'm going to try the pizza.
