Meg's Swimwear

There is no more Megs Swimwear... I was just in Virginia Beach. Seems to be gone. I searched up and down the street thinking they moved. Must have closed

The store was VERY nice. There was a large selection of suits, cover-ups, beach bags etc. The staff was attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this business.

Excellent swim shop! I was in a rush to get a couple of bathing suits for a tropical vacation with my husband, and I had googled swimwear shops specifically since it was towards the end of the summer season, and I didn't want just a lot of picked over separates. After trying out nearly every "surf" shop, I'm so glad I came across Meg's. The staff was over the top helpful, and the selection has been the best I've ever came across. Going from Victoria's Secret swim suits to the brands they carry was like going from McDonalds to a 5 star restaurant. The brands they carry are high quality, and the prices go from average to quite pricey, but overall very much so worth the comfort and good style! I'll definitely recommend Meg's to anyone looking for a new suit! They're open year round too!

The customer service was lackluster. I spent $97 on a two piece swimsuit. They helped me to find pieces, but didn't go out of the way to make the experience enjoyable. They didn't seem to care.

No one I know likes to go bathing suit shopping, myself included. But we're going on vacation and my suits have seen too much chlorine. Meg's is noted for having a large variety and sizes for everyone.It's off season, goodie for me, all the suits are 50% off however the variety was less than I had hoped for. Two very nice ladies picked out suits for me to try on, they were very helpful. I narrowed it down to a few and modeled for my guy and was out the door in 20 minutes. It wasn't as painful as I had feared.

Best swimwear and customer service EVER. I'm a bigger girl- size 16 and a bit older at 42. So finding well fitting swimwear can sometimes be a challenge.The VERY moment I walked in the door I was warmly welcomed and asked what I had in mind! I was made to feel very comfortable.They were very knowledgeable and the owner even pitched in looking for suitable suits!I will most definitely be back when I need another suit.Swimwear shopping is always uncomfortable as a bigger girl and I was going out on a limb buying a 2 piece anyway.... but this was the best shopping experience I have ever had.They were honest when asked opinions and they helped me find the best suit!I have NEVER gotten so many compliments on a suit before! Even strangers have complimented me and asked where I got it!I am so very happy!! My confidence is thru the roof now! I wish I could wear this 2 piece everywhere!THANK YOU LADIES!!

A great store for quality bathing suits, beach attire and casual wear that's two blocks off the beach. They have a vast selection of suits -- bikinis, tankinis and one pieces in varying shapes, sizes and cuts. The customer service is excellent, they actually HELP you find the perfect suit, dress, etc for you. And, the swimwear is high quality, well made, and typically lined. They also have sandals and a good selection of beautiful and stylish clothing. I love this store and will definitely make a trip back to Meg's on my return visit to the beach.

I admit that shopping at Meg's can be a bit intimidating at first. The wide variety of mix and match suit separates, clothing and shoes (mostly sandals) can be a bit overwhelming. The staff is available but not overbearing. During a recent winter Saturday visit, I asked for help, described what I wanted and had two clerks bringing me samples. They were helpful in locating alternate sizes and made the visit a success. One bathing suit top and one pair of shoes all at the winter discounted price (at least 50% discount!).The store can get busy, so get in there before the seasonal crowds. Without hesitation, the best bathing suit store in town.
