Maurice

Maurice's has two restaurants. Personally, I love the ambiance in the back restaurant - it is modern with moody lighting, comfy and different seating (bar, table with bench, a little VIP area lol). I went there for a drink and ordered some sort of dessert bao bun that was awesome before dinner.The main dining room of Maurice's room has a ton of windows and tables with chairs. Service is excellent!The food is consistently great with a variety of options, including vegetarian options!

We love Maurice! Fresh seafood and steaks and they always aim to please. We recently tried the pork chop and it was excellent. Their service is fantastic as well. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Lunch on Friday afternoon was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a friend in a wheelchair. We ended up eating in Kuchi and had a wonderful selection of sushi and the French Dip sandwich with truffle fries. We all want to go back to try the dim sum at Kuchi.

Came here on the way home from Delaware. We wanted something not too heavy and ended up at this place. They were connected to another place called Kuchi Sabishii sushi which had just what we wanted. Tons of variety and small portions you can continue to order. The sushi was fresh and very unique. Flash fried sushi rolls did not disappoint. The restaurant itself had a very nice ambiance and our server for the most part was pretty attentive. However, when the restaurant got packed with parties, our service did slow down. I noticed another table waiting upwards of 10+ minutes for their server to even come by to offer them beverages. Only downfall of that experience but we came in at a time where it wasn't busy so we got our food fine. If we came later, then it would have been a different story, assuming from what I observed towards the end of our visit.

Maurice was a great restaurant with bold, innovative dishes that scored, and attentive service, albeit at a high price.Alas, those days are over. The same dishes are now served without the old panache, and crowds of discounted diners overwhelm the staff.Our last visit featured lack-luster food, no knives(!), staff too busy to respond, cold expresso, undrinkable cappuchino, very high priced alcohol ($15 for a short glass of wine), in a dining room packed with others paying a less than full price.If you can find it on Groupon, this may be worth a try.My last review was taken down after a complaint by Maurice that detail was lacking. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Fun atmosphere, incredible fare, and impeccable service! My boyfriend and I are regulars at this restaurant and are greeted like family at least once a week. We hardly ever miss their BBB special (Burger, Bourbon, Beer) for $13, and almost always supplement with a sushi roll from their fantastic selection. Prices are more than fair for the high quality you receive and whether you're seated inside, on the patio, or in the lounge, the ambience is always delightful.Definitely the best restaurant in a 30mi radius. Highly recommend!

Ate at Kuchi for the first time! Will DEFINITELY be back!!! Oh my goodness, the suchi was incredible! Had the jumbo veggie roll - perfect! Appetizer was bacon wrapped scallops - divine!!!Our waitress, Lily, was great and knew all the different desserts to choose from the top of her head.Ambiance was like something you'd except to find in NYC but it was very cool, different, bohemian, eclectic.... Something you wouldn't expect to find here on the Shore but super glad we do!!!!The only recommendation is to serve Midori Sour mixed drinks. Surprised that wasn't on the bar as it's a Japanese melon drink.

Best sushi on the ESVA!!! All of their specials are top notch as well. I have never had a bad meal here. My favorite roll is the Godzilla Roll. If dining in, I would recommend making a reservation & expect to be there for a couple hours. It's not that the service is slow, it's just a fine dining experience. They are very attentive. I recommend going on a Wednesday night for their BBB Special. Burger, beer, & a shot of bourbon for $13 (Can't get better than that!!). Thursday is their half price wine night. Highly recommend for any occasion!!!

The best, flavorful, interesting menu.The beet heirloom tomato salad was wonderful as was the crab cake.The salad was large enough to be a meal by itself.Loved it, wish we lived closer!Cocktails also amazing!
