This small shop on E Princess Anne Rd produced the most beautiful bouquet for me. I called shortly after they opened and discussed with the proprietor what I wanted (pretty and smells nice) as a "Get well" for my Mom, along with my price point. It was swiftly ready that afternoon and absolutely beautiful! Even the employees at the hospital remarked how gorgeous it was, and they see flower arrangements all the time. For under 50 (with tax) I got an awesome, same day, arrangement with roses, daisies, snapdragons, carnations, lilies, and a few I didn't know the name of. They were inside a cute basket and the arrangement went all the way around. Came with a Get Well sign and a card on a stick. Please check out Martin's Florist for great designs; locally owned and operated. I love small businesses and I was so glad I took a chance on this place without any Yelp reviews. I got a much better, Original arrangement than is offered at online mega retailers.Recommend you call ahead and speak with the nice lady who runs it. The shop is small and maybe not in the best neighborhood.

Diane was very helpful in taking my order for my husband's funeral and church flowers for following Sunday. I will certainly call her again as the flowers were beautiful for the funeral!Thank you Diane!!

My husband and I received an arrangement from my MIL for our anniversary in October. The flowers were so fresh and beautifully arranged! They also lasted much longer than many other arrangements I've received from some others in the past. The first few photos are from 10/4. The others are from 10/11 after some of the others had already opened up. It was a wonderful combination of the two and I appreciate the balance. The only 2 cons I know of with this experience:1. My MIL purchased them online through a 3rd party site (she can't remember which) and apparently paid extra for them to be delivered before 1pm. They were delivered between 3 and 4 when we were gone. The delivery person did call us when we didn't answer the door and mentioned that ordering through that 3rd party site was sometimes problematic as in they didn't know of the early delivery option. Which leads me to...2. If you look up Martin's Florist directly, there is no way to order online from them directly. The website doesn't even list bouquet options. Only the ability to ask for a quote and call to order. For someone like me who often shops for these things in the evening and wants a good idea of how a bouquet will look, this is off-putting. In fact, I found this out when I tried to order from them about a month later. Ultimately ended up ordering from another business online because of it. Overall, I do recommend this florist bc as far as flowers go I was very impressed.

My aunt recently passed away, and I couldn't fly to Virginia to attend the funeral because of the busy work in California. So I searched for the local florists to deliver the flowers for me in Yelp, but there were so many florists with different kinds of positive/negative comments, and I didn't know which one was reliable.My sister called the funeral home, and they referred Martin Florist and another florist to us since these 2 florists had been doing the business with them. So my sister called them. My sister felt that Diane from Martin Florist sounded sincerely and trustable. We then went for Martin Florist.I communicated with Diane through SMS and email. She was so nice and provided the quick response on both ways. I sent her a picture of the standing spray found online, and asked her if she could make one like that. She looked at it, and told me that there shouldn't be a problem. She quoted me a lower price compared with the florist where I downloaded the picture (I didn't tell her how much it should be). She also waived the delivery fee that I didn't expect.Today is the funeral service day. She delivered the standing spray, took a picture on it and sent it to me per my request. It looked so nice and 90% matched with the sample picture I sent (see both pictures in my comment). I am fully satisfied with her service and quality of the work. I am a picky person, and always give low stars in Yelp. Yet I gave Martin Florist 5 stars and highly recommend this florist to those who need flowers for special occasions.

Martin Florist was a pleasure to deal with. After a brief discussion of what I wanted, they put together an incredible, sumptuous bouquet for the price. The delivery was on time and they sent a delivery notice with a photo of the bouquet. With most florists, you put in the order and hope for the best. Sending a photo is a simple thing to do but shows their confidence in their product. Will definitely use them again.
