Very good. Love the help, and most of the dishes. Sometimes loud. 5 stars! Check out the veal marsala(100% Italian visiting friends love it), the pesto and Buffalo chix pizza, eggplant parm, and baked spaghetti!

I am giving this place a 2 star for the waiter ONLY he was decent otherwise I would give negativeWe ordered the calamari as. Starter and they were so nasty no flavoring at all not even after applying a pound of salt I believe they were frozen not fresh and to boot they were recommended by waiter My family ordered the oysters and when they arrived they were curious about the size and what kind they were also they were only in half the shell every other time they were served in a bucket in the whole shellThey asked the waiter what the kind was and he said he didn't know and never returned to tell them what they wereWe also ordered a large pizza the size was great but we should have ordered cooked extra because I needed to eat it with a fork which is not for me Very gooey Lastly my husband ordered a slice of rainbow cake and there was absolutely no flavor at all it was a frozen cake not worth 8.99 per slice not fresh and stored in freezer so ice cold when it arrivedI will not be back I will not recommend

We were seated immediately on a Thursday night to a warm and cozy private booth. They were busy but not packed. They have a nice Italian granny home vibe going. The server had great personality and service. The food was not any better that I could make at home on a regular day. Just fell short of depth and herbs in flavor. Seemed more like something my grandkids would like - basic and unseasoned. Beef filled tortellini pan a had a lot of oil and slightly salty taste. Baked ziti had meat in it and I sent it back- I didn't read the ingredients. I did taste it and it just tasted like sausage and lacked a tomatoe / ricotta flavor that I love in baked ziti.Eggplant parm was flat with no flavor and very little sauce and seasoning.

First and foremost, this was a pickup order. My friend noticed our bag looked a bit small, and they forgot to give us an entire large calzone. Thankfully we checked our bag before we left, which we shouldn't have to do, but we're all human. I got the antipasto salad. It was mediocre, and I would not order it again. The lettuce was generic iceberg lettuce that was close to the end of its shelf life (it didn't look great). The kicker here was that it only comes with one teeny dressing and they up-charge for extra dressings. I ended up getting two additional dressings for options, and I'm glad I did, because I needed all three! The olives (both the kalamata & black) tasted really off, but it was edible and I did eat most of it. My friend got the calzone, and it was really good. $22 for a large seemed quite pricey, but it did taste good. All in all, I probably won't come here again, but I may dine in and give it another go eventually.

I stopped by here for lunch the other day. I had a lunch salad which was amazing but the big surprise was their homemade bread with butter. It was out of this world!!! My server was upbeat and bubbly. Was happy at how chill the vibe was too compared to how tense it used be in there with the prior ownership. Will definitely return!

Met a few friends for lunch at Mamma Rosa's. Two of us decided we wanted a white pizza with some toppings and shared a large pizza. Our pizza costs us $40 for one pizza!!!!! It was good but not for $40!!! The menu is deceiving, they charged us $3.50 for each topping! I mean dang no warning that if you want veggies it's 3.50 for each topping you are adding. Never again. The pizza was so good too just effed up that we paid $40 for one pizza!!

One of, if not THEE best Italian eateries in Hampton! The owners have tons of history in the area and are always meeting the guests to ensure the food and service are top notch, and they always are! The problem with Mamma Rosa's is that EVERYTHING is so wonderful that I order way too much! The dishes are made with care and the tastes are out of this world! The restaurant has a family feel to it and the service is always attentive and accommodating. If you have never been here, you NEED to go!

Beware extra sauce. I've never had a problem here before, their food is delicious but for whatever reason "extra sauce" meant about 2 jars on one pizza. I don't see how this much sauce even makes sense on a pizza but that's what they served.
