Dan and staff were great! Even though they don't take reservations I was coming in from out of town with 30 people and wanted to have dinner here. So called a few days ahead and told Dan the situation and he gave his suggestion to call again the day of and what time he thought would be best. To which I did. They were able to accommodate us in the dining room. Food was outstanding! And they were troopers having 30 people in addition to their regular Tuesday night customers. Can't go wrong with any of the seafood here. Our team ordered everything from the seafood pots, to fried shrimp, po boy sandwiches, chowder, clam strips, fish and chips, wings and then some. Was all fantastic!

Great lunch place, not far from Currituck lighthouse.We shared 3 fry baskets: mahi mahi, clams, and shrimp. We mixed up the sides as fries, onion rings, and hush puppies. The fries were really good and the other two were okay.We sat on the back deck and had a beautiful view of the adjacent park and wetlands. Sails overhead offer some shade and the breeze kept us cool.After, we stopped into Nags Head Hammocks, in the same building and shared an entrance, which was trendy and cool.

THE BEST PLACE WE ATE IN OBX!!! I'm not even kidding you, this was my favorite place we ate in Corolla & all of OBX. The shrimp basket... the shrimp is perfectly fried and seasoned, same with the fries, and you can tell it's super fresh. The remoulade sauce it's served with is what dreams are made of. The fried green tomatoes were fantastic, loved the textures, and various flavors. The crab-cake sandwich was probably the best one we had on our trip too! The hush puppies were okay but we liked the fries way more. We ended up here three times and brought more and more people with us, each group saying they also loved it. Lastly, the service was SO GOOD! The gals working up front were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, 10/10!

Another place we found on yelp! So glad we found this little hole in the wall and truly enjoyed our lunch. The guys behind the counter were great to explain the process and it was nice and clean inside.

Fast, friendly, comfortable and everything we ordered was delicious. We got calamari, crab cake sandwich and a kids burger. Fries were seasoned well. We would've like to have sat outside but there was only one large table. Only hiccup was the soda machine wasn't working but they fixed it quickly.

First called to make sure they could seat 15, they said yes so we headed down for lunch. The First Lady was fast to seat us at one large table, we suggested 2 tables but she wouldn't let us. The man came behind us and screamed "go sit go sit" we explained the lady told us to wait he didn't care said "she doesn't know what she is talking about". So we sat at our one table.... Elbow to elbow. They handed us a piece of paper to write our order down.Good came out quickly, except for the second order of chicken nuggets, the lady had to check the paper and her computer twice before realizing it was her fault she didn't have them for us. The burgers were great, crab was good, all the other food couldn't say anything bad about it. The only reason this place gets a 1 star is because the service was terrible, from the attitude to the interact with customers just terrible

The food was good, however from the start this restaurant did not show professionalism. I'm handicapped, I had my daughter and her family which had three small children 7 and under as well as my husband. The hostess was extremely rude and brisk. She only gave an option of sitting on the deck in the heat or a 20 to 25 minutes wait or more. Meanwhile I'm standing there with a cane not believing this is happening.No one told us we had to get our own drinks. The food was not worth the frustration. We would not recommend this place if you have small children. I personally will never go back again.

Tucked away in the corner of the shopping area it's in, it took a few minutes to find the entrance and make our way into the restaurant. The place was hopping, but we were seated quickly and were directed to the desk at which you order. The cashier was very friendly as were the other servers milling around delivering food as it came out. I understand why they do it this way, but honestly we had a large group so it was tedious on our end to note everything and even with my copious notes they still messed up a few details, but that is easily forgiven as everything came out hot and fresh. First off, the buffalo shrimp are out of this world. One of the best fried shrimp dishes I have had in a long time. The shrimp were a great size, hot and fresh and so crispy!! 10/10! We also got clam basket, shrimp po boy, crab cakes, a salad, and a burger. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the fries were pretty good although not mind blowing, but the onion rings were great. I am not a fan of filler in my crab cakes, so the bits of pepper were not great, also they were a little too salty, but overall I would absolutely eat here again and get more of the buffalo shrimp and have that as the entree.

Great food and friendly service! Ambience is nice! Place is nice and clean Definitely will comeback once we visit OBX again

Ordered takeout. This was one of the best Po Boys I've ever had! Great food, not the greatest location though.
