We went here for my daughter's birthday party and they had a complete blast. Not necessarily my thing, but hey, I'm just the guy fronting the bill for a happy child.The pricing was very fair in my opinion and they did a great job of ensuring all the kids had fun and were coordinated (tough) in their work. The facility was quaint and just enough to be perfect for hosting the event and allowing customers to come in. I'm sure we'll be back but the first line of my review was told to me by the person working. My boys LOVE coming here to be creative! The studio has an incredible selection of paints and pieces to decorate. The owner is extremely helpful in making sure our pieces look great since I'm a terrible artist. Everyone here is super helpful and they've always been so kind. We love it so much that we have had birthday parties here and they've been wonderful! They also hold classes and camps during the summer and winter school breaks. An awesome place here in Suffolk to just unwind and have some fun!

Ok people we have all been to a color me mine welllll this is NOT that!!! This adorable hidden gem is AMAZING You have to stop bye! I went in here after hours for a girls night kinda bummed expecting to pay way to much to make a disaster. NOPE not at all. There are so many fun projects in any price range starting at $3.00!!! The owner/artist is simply spectacular!!! She will inspire you and help you creat the most beautiful things. I already took my little girl back to paint and she was so happy. Had the best time! This is seriously a must do! Too cold to play outside? Go paint something. It's affordable and so much fun!!! I have a saying. Create something every damn day! It really will change your life! This is a new staple in my Ohana!!Q. Can't paint?! A. Yes you can! Q. Don't want to paint?! A. Then pick some of the other fun crafts to do!!Did I mention they have a tiny tot play area?!?! A place to bring all the colors of the rainbow and creativity together is in a place full of art. I visited this art studio for a rock painting event with kids but the good news is adults can paint rocks here too. This shop had shelves full of crafts just waiting to be painted. Any themes you could imagine. Paint something wood or plaster. She will fire your projects after you finish painting. On my particular day after we were done painting the rocks she sprayed a clear coat and dried them for us. She offers classes and summer camps for kids. Ladies night and open studios. There is also beading for jewelry as another option. I liked that there were tables and chairs for little people and she even had smocks for them to borrow.

Where to start.....Kelly and her team are sweet welcoming and super great with kiddos. We have had a birthday at a daycare, and it was stress free and spectacular. My teen has sat in pop up day events, home and his friends love. We have done so much with Make Something Studio and will continue to do. Bonus if you want to create something they will help you, and guide in the best direction. If you want soemthing not there Kelly tries to get. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND FOR ALL EVENTS, AGES AND EVEN DATE NIGHTS...OR DAYS.

The owner of this business was completely sarcastic, rude, and condescending. Acting like she was doing our group a tremendous favor just by showing us where things were and explaining prices and process, and that it was the biggest inconvenience. It seemed like if you asked her a question about services she offered or pieces in her inventory she was going to erupt at any moment. It was a super uncomfortable environment because she had a nasty attitude and tone with her worker, as well as her daughter that she had there. Scolding her loudly enough to not be able to ignore over and over for doing things like going between watching a tablet and coloring or walking around- just normal small child things. At first I brushed it off as having a bad day because we all do sometimes, but she was continuously so rude to her daughter in front of her customers that it made for an extremely uncomfortable workspace. She was also being rude to someone on the phone so loudly that it was hard to not hear. I can't believe anyone would act like that at a place of business and a studio at that. It's also crazy to treat paying customers this way. Even if it was a bad day, she should have closed her shop up before treating the people around her in this way. We had already started painting pottery so it felt wrong to just up and leave but perhaps we should have. I'm not sure how there's so many good reviews, friends and family perhaps, but the other one star seems accurate compared to my own experience here. Go to a&r workshop or a color me mine type of place. Don't waste your time and money here.

I went to the Beetlejuice themed paint night at Hanks Filling Station and had a phenomenal time! I'm not super artistically inclined, but the Make Something Studio employees were very friendly, helpful, and patient! I'm actually very pleased with the way my ceramic turned out, and it hasn't even been finished yet! (And I was always the kid whose projects turned out terrible in art class!) I would highly recommend Make Something Studio, and I'm looking forward to their next event!

Amazing place, closest place to us in Suffolk, it is very unique! They hold events at the studio for every age, as well as open painting hours were the pieces you can paint yourself are on the cheap side, they have mugs starting at 15 and kids pieces starting at 10! Great for all ages!

This place is a fantastic paint it yourself pottery studio. I've been there twice so far and I intend on going back, they offer a full pottery painting studio experience without the studio fees that nickel and dime you to pieces. Friendly and helpful staff and a great selection. You can even paint the pottery with acrylic paint and take it home the same day as long as you don't intend on using it for food use. Bottom line, best bang for the buck pottery studio on the Southside.
