Ordered from Main Moon the other night. I got the crab ragoon and that was really good. They actually put a decent amount of filling inside, and the egg drop was good. However the Mongolian beef wasnt that great in my opinion. Weird textured beef, and was full of onions. The fried rice was reallllly dry. The lo mein tasted not good. The sweet sour chicken was ok. The food was hot, and my order was correct. The taste and texture of the foods tho, could be better.

I was visiting some family members around the area, and we wanted to go out to eat. But we stumbled upon this place called Main Moon. We have been to other Chinese restaurants, but they were nothing compared to this place. When we walked in, it was almost full, and we got hit with a smell that was indescribable like no other place. We got to ordering. We had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, 8 Chicken Wings, Chicken Teriyaki, General Tso's Chicken, and Mei Fun, and it was 30 dollars. SO CHEAP? I couldn't believe it, and we got to a table and sat down. The service was amazing. The food came out so quickly, even though it was packed with people. The food was super warm, and we had some of the best food in this area. It was crunchy, smooth, and delicious. The portions were bigger than we thought, but that was okay. The atmosphere felt so comfortable, like we were at home. My wife loves this place so much. This is only our second time eating here, not including pick-ups and delivery. This would be my first review because I just couldn't stop thinking about coming back to Main Moon. Next time, I will remember to bring some more family members to have them try Main Moon!

we've been getting food at Main Moon for years, including their Chinese and Curry offerings. The food is consistently delicious, hot, and ready quickly. We and friends have tried a couple of others in the area, but always go back to Main Moon. This is not a fancy sit-down place; they did away with eat-in during Covid, but the food is great!

I have ordered from this restaurant at least once a week, but never again. We ordered for delivery and usually it is fast, not this time. Placed order for $70 worth of food for delivery. We are 4.8 miles from Main Moon. After waiting 45 minutes, I called to see when I could expect delivery, I was told it just left heading my way. 15 minutes later I called again and was told it just left. I told them that is what I was told 15 minutes ago. When I started questioning why after an hour wait, my food was just leaving the restaurant, she hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again. I called back, but spoke to a different person. Again I was told they were leaving now and would arrive in 5 minutes. My food arrived after a 10 minute wait. Food was good, but the rude employees is too much.

I ordered pickup around 10 which is pretty late considering they close at 10:30. The service is very friendly and nice. I had the sweet and sour chicken dinner special and the crab Rangoon appetizer. The restaurant was very clean and cute on the inside! It was so thoughtful for them to stay open and take one last order especially being a family owned restaurant.

So hard to find a good Chinese place around here. Ordered delivery, it didn't take long! Food was hot. We ordered vegetable lo mein, general tsos chicken and and two pork egg rolls. Vegetable lo mein, the flavor was good but I felt as if the noodles were chewy/mushy. General Tsos chicken, mmmm no. We got this based on reviews. The flavor was very good(the sauce) but the chicken quality is not that good. It was like mushy and overcooked. I had high hopes for it and was let down. We didn't eat the rest of the chicken after two bites. The egg rolls were crispy and as expected. Nothing special but good. We have tried 4 different Chinese places around Newport News. This would be ranked 3rd of the 4.*dropped my ranking a star after reading other reviews and starting to evaluate how gross this was,I'm gonna barf*

Absolutely disgusting. Very bland and the pork fried rice was yellow curry color, not fried, had only onion in it. Where's the egg? Or broccoli ? Or carrots? The pork egg roll was disgusting and flavorless too. Beef lo mein was tons of noodles with 1 piece of broccoli a few carrot strands and very small pieces of beef. I will NOT be back. What a waste of money.
