The bad reviews here are crazy. Best pizza on the island and I'm not sure it's close. Crispy under carriage but not burnt. Fresh toppings. I just ordered a supreme and it may have been the best pizza I've ever had. The owner is super chill. The people complaining are probably dealing with the summer rush when things are crazy. Not sure if the oven he's using but it cooks the pizza perfectly. Fresh ingredients... delicious!

the Google reviews on this pizza place and I knew I had to try it. I'd liked the responses from the owner seemed like a down to earth place and it was just that this is a one-man operation so he really doesn't have time for shenanigans taking orders. And it was just as expected, and I loved it. The owner was the only one working. My order was done on time. It was fresh and good reviews to the restaurant but the pizza and wings are bringing me back. Keep doing what you're doing. You clearly know how to run your business.

This was our first time visiting and it exceeded every expectation we had. After having pizza at many places in the OBX over the years, I think I can say this is the best so far. The pizza was great, especially the high-quality toppings. Even if the pizza wasn't so good, I would go there just for the chicken wings. I've had mixed results ordering wings from pizza places, but these were delicious. The owner was honest and conscientious about his product and seemed to take pride in what he was doing. We'll be back and we'll be hungry!

Decent pizza (crust on the thin side) but it's literally a one man operation. If he gets more than a few orders at a time (on our night, it was thrown off by walk in traffic) you can expect to wait an hour or more. And he's not all that friendly about explaining it.Take out only. Not for dine in.

Horrible attitude for a business owner! I would never support any biz whose owner is so rude and ignorant; too many other places with really nice, courteous, respectful owners!

Worst pizza in North Carolina. Period. Low quality and tastes like feces. Someone shut this place down

Now that you've amused yourself by reading all these crazy reviews, just order the pizza. This is a one man show and he doesn't have or make time for anyone thinking they should be treated like they're extra special or to wait for you while you figure out what the heck you're doing. He's got pizza to make! Read the menu. Know what you want. Order it. You might have to let it ring for a bit because he's making pizza. Then go pick up the best pizza on the Outer Banks (or anywhere else I've had pizza, for that matter). I've never had a bad pizza from Madison's, it's always been on time, hot and delicious. And I've never been treated rudely or disrespectfully because I've never treated him that way either.This place is the real deal.

The owner is quite rude and refuses to hire any help. Honestly, I don't know how anyone could even work with him. The first couple times we went the pizzas were incredible but the last few times were enough to make it not worth putting up with his 'personality.'

Terrible service and even worse manners. Make sure you check out the Google reviews before you go. The way he responds to customers calling him out about his terrible interpersonal skills is ridiculously disrespectful. Please do not patronize this business. I absolutely have no idea how this person stays in business the way he treats people. And he calls people entitled..you sir are the epitome of entitled. And thank goodness there are way better pizza places in the OBX. Save your hard earned money and go to one of them instead!
