Tucked away with a beautiful view, good food is AND strong drinks?! Sign me up! Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. We order a bowl of she crab soup (9/10, wish there was a bit more crab), the lunch special grilled chicken caesar wrap (10/10, & it's served with fries), the longboard club sandwich (9/10, & served with soup) and last but not least, the blue raspberry cosmo, which was strong and delicious (10/10!)Service was decent even though things started to pick up after being there for a few minutes. I'd definitely come back again and sit outside next time to take in more of the view.

Such a cute spot to get food and drinks! I had been eyeing this place for so long and finally got to try it. We went around sunset time and sat outside. The view by the water was so relaxing and cute. We ordered a blue raspberry cosmo (10/10, was strong but still good), Crab mac and cheese appetizer (10/10), Lava burger (7/10, a little bland), and the Fried fish tacos with rice and beans and mac salad (8/10, lacked in flavor a little but was still decent). Total bill was $70. Overall, we enjoyed our food and definitely are gonna return to try some other items and their lunch/happy hour. Our waitress was really nice also. My overall rate of experience : 7.5/10

This review is not based on their food. I feel the need to also state that I've never left a negative review before this one. I attempted to have lunch here today. There were lots of open seating & it didn't look too crowded. After waiting for the hostess for a bit, she told me there was a 15 min wait for a table & that I could sit at the bar. I politely asked her if I could just sit at one of the available tables. I understood it would be a wait until a server would be able to get to me. She said their policy was to sit people at the bar & then a table. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, so I said yes. The manager said that was just their policy, they sit people at the bar & then will seat them at a table (regardless of there being plenty of open tables). I asked her "what about people that don't drink or are sober & forced to sit at the bar?" Again she stated that was just their policy. I thanked her & decided to go elsewhere. I'll probably give them another try because I've heard good things about the food but for now, I'm leaving 2 stars.

So I walked in and ordered a bowl of their black bean chili and a side of their macaroni salad. Let me start by saying the girl the front counter could've given two craps if you were there or not. The macaroni salad was delicious like it always is. my soup that was supposed to be a bowl fit in my coffee mug when I got home so clearly that's not a bowl size I got no sour cream and no pico de gallo no green chives on it. Nothing. Total waste of money.

Pretty disappointing Saturday drop in for a late lunch. Parking is still troublesome and definitely a no-no if handicapped. The patrons were loud and overly chatty. The whole vibe of the place has changed as if all the ongoing construction in the area has impacted the clientele. My wife and I sat at the bar. The staff seemed distracted and it took the kitchen too long to bring our appetizer out. We had initially intended to have lunch, but considering how long it took for the appetizer, we finished our beers and left. The appetizer was an order of tuna "bites" and honestly it was outstanding...almost good enough to change our minds about leaving, but we had made our minds up and decided to leave on a "high note" and go elsewhere for lunch.

Wanted a decent place with a friend and boy was I disappointed to the max.Don't let the ambiance by the water and all fool you. We sat down ordered few beers and got our food.Crab dip - creamy and savory! Bread was seasoned with old bay..good, but salty parts. Overall good.Fish and chips - worst I've had in my life. The "fish" was about less than half an inch thick, and didn't fill the breading, which leads me to believe it's been sitting in the fridge and old. That's usually what happens when it's sitting on the shelf. Shrivels up and becomes dry. See pictures. Also, one? I always at a minimum get two.The sides..coleslaw had potential. Good sauce, but you can see the translucent cabbage. It's screaming old vegetables. Would rather have coleslaw from KFC.Fries? Not hard to mess up. It was fine.Service was good. Staff are friendly!I'd say come here for beer and maybe some fries and that's about it. Never coming back.

Parking is very difficult due to all the construction. Be prepared to park on the street. Not a long time waiting. More guys working the floor than I've ever seen and this is a top five business for me. Music is soft and its slightly busy for lunch. Food was okay.... I ordered the chicken wing special with fries. It was okay. I'm used to the food here being top notch. This won't stop me from coming, could've just been a day.

since moving back to norfolk want to give a shout out to mandy and the staff. my husband and i have met the greatest friends .great service and fun enviroment. becky s

As a military family, it is hard to move every few years. But we felt instantly welcome. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Mandy the bar manager is by far a local gem. She made us feel like we had been friends for years. She introduced us to the whole bar (she knows everyone, almost like everyone grew up together). If you are looking for a great vibe, and to instantly feel comfort and at home. I highly recommend stopping by, to check out the menu and stay for the great service.

The Service and food at LB's are on point, no complaints about that BUT I recently heard that one of my favorite bartenders is no longer there. As a regular at LB's, I also heard some of the gossip regarding the reason why she is no longer there. Since Jessica started at LB's she has provided impeccable service. She is always quick to greet anyone who sits at the bar or a table that she is assigned to serve. She told some of us regulars about her experience and other places where she worked as a bartender. It is obvious that she is an experienced professional and shows such knowledge and respect to everyone. What a shame. I thought she would be there for a long time. She spoke of great ideas that she had for the summer that she had planned to share with management and ownership.She is a true leader and it is so disappointing that she is no longer at LB's. There is no reason to lose such an experienced professional bartender who looks out for the best interest of the establishment. She is management material. She was a great asset to LB's and will be missed. Her next employer will greatly benefit from having her.
