Be sure to have the pie... even for breakfast. Breakfast ends at 1030! Don't miss it . That said an excellent BLT is an alternative. Large big Dave omelets. Excellent service, clean enough for your mother in law.

This is exactly what you want in a small town diner.It's nothing fancy, but it has a varied menu, attentive and friendly service, and great food at really low prices.You can tell this place is good because it's busy, and all the locals seem to eat here.If you find yourself in Emporia -- highly recommended!

The food is great served to you always hot and ready as ordered. The setting gives a ice cream shop feel.

We wanted to try a local Spot on our way to South Carolina and we came across this diner through Yelp.Service Was great, very clean place, and the food was great! I had the vegetarian omelet, was so hungry that forgot to take a picture!

We've been stopping at Logan's for the last several years whenever heading south. We enjoy supporting small businesses instead of the chains whenever possible. This trip today certainly ended any future stops at Logan's. We arrived and were seated at 10:28. A waitress approached our table 3-4 minutes later to state that they were "switching over to lunch because it was 10:30". I told her we stopped for a few omelettes and the cook currently had eggs on the grill. She said she would check with the manager. All of this unfolded in front of us. A meeting with the manager, then the cook and back to the manager. Our waitress then returned with the verdict and lunch menus! She said, "you'll have to do lunch!" I told her no, we will head back 1 mile and hit Cracker Barrel for breakfast. They literally had maybe 7 patrons with 90% of their tables available when they rudely turned us away.. S

We found this place by Yelp and were delighted. Just a good old fashioned diner where a lot of locals go to eat They have booths and the counter to eat at. You can watch your food being cooked and it was delicious. We each had omelettes and he had hash browns and I had potatoes. Pancakes were huge and looked great. If you are looking for a great basic breakfast place. Look no further A great stop and Emporia is a beautiful town.

What a hidden gem this place is, I believe they was seating for about 20. I have the daily special fried chicken, a starch and corn, a roll and a side salad for $10.69. The food came out. It was delicious quick to the table and the staff was incredibly friendly so if you're ever in Atlantic Iowa stop in you won't be disappointed .

If there was a minus 10 star rating...this woule be it. We arrived at 10:04 A.M., took the waitress 20 minutes so we could order a simple breakfast at 10:20 A.M. Advised that they were out of buscuits and had no milk. We got a cup of coffee and cup of tea. And waited. And waited. FINALLY at 11:05 A.M. we left. Tea and coffee cost 5.19. None were bothered or apologetic or working. The absolute WORST place ever.

Great food. Great service. We really enjoyed our breakfast. We highly recommend going to Logan's Diner.

Food is terrible. Out of basic things like english muffins and biscuits. Waste of time and money
