Log Home Brewing

My friends and I came here while we were camping at Lake Anna. We were surprised by the lack of people here on a Saturday but don't be fooled the beer and food are great. We ordered the smash burgers, I would get 2 patties next time as the patties are very thin. They have a large outdoor space with games. We all got a flight with beer, sours, and ciders. All were great. The staff were super nice and prices reasonable. If you're in the area I would definitely stop by!

Food was okay. Steak and cheese eggs rolls were very good. Fried pickles were just meh. Good selection of beers. Flavor was better than average, but not amazing. We vice was pretty much me. Belly up to the bar to order and pick up your order when the buzzer sounds. Nice opportunities to sit inside, outside under cover, and outside in the open. Would likely be a really nice hangout in a little cooler weather. Probably not worth a long drive, but worth a stop if you're in the area. Several other breweries and wineries nearby make for a nice afternoon.

Pretty cool place. Didn't get to enjoy outside much because of the weather. Beers and food was very good. Will be back.

Awesome place! Highly recommend!Such an adorable cabin feel, I fell in love with it. The drinks are all amazing. Definitely would get the flight again as I loved all the drinks I tried.They have food trucks come and we tried their pulled pork Mac and cheese, pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and fudge brownie and they were all AWESOME! I was so impressed with how good the food was.Outside often has music playing and is an awesome vibe. Definitely can get hot but there's plenty of indoor spaces to cool down, or even an in between seating area with fans going.Employees were nice and attentive.

Love, Love, Love Log Home Brewery! Hubs and I have been coming since they opened and they have continued to grow, expand offering of beverages and their menu. Always a fun crowd! Relaxing, low key and friendly. Outdoor and indoor games, entertainment live stage.

Are you looking for good people, good service and yummy beer, then Log Home Brewing is the place. The main area is beautiful and inviting. The pouring system is neat to see, as the beverage fills up from the bottom of the glass. No waste. During my second visit, the establishment has grown. They now have several cornhole boards, two bocci lanes, and a stage for live bands. Also, there is an event almost every night. Awesome variety. And they're not done yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what other amazing things Log Home Brewing will provide. Money and time well spent.

We are so excited to have visited on opening weekend and many weekends since. This Brewery is 10 minutes from our home and this is only one good thing... the atmosphere is the best! The inside is so warm and cozy with the beautiful wood and the outside is so well thought out and planned. The fire pits are the best, the cornhole, picnic tables and stage for live music make the visit so fun. My hubby and kids love the beer and I love the seltzers and flavor you get to choose. We haven't taken advantage of the food trucks yet, but we will as we continue to visit! And a good touch is to give a law enforcement discount and they are starting to collect patches. Gotta get over there with my son's patch!

They could improve both their food and their service. I ordered nachos and the chips were extremely stale. The "chile" was no beans Hormel chile. The lettuce looked like it was at least a week old, brown and gross. We had a second to go order and asked if that could be brought out later when we wrapped things up. They brought my sisters DINNER order and the TO GO order out about 15-20 minutes after she put the order in. So I ate alone and they messed up her in house order!!! The service was terrible, we sat ourselves at the table next to the bar. We had to be given beepers to turn around to the bar and pick up our food, literally one step away (Servers DO NOT come out from behind the bar) Then at the end of the evening we were charged an extra 30% for not closing out our tab. We were NEVER served, we did everything, even when I asked for napkins and forks they POINTED across the room to where it was!! I was so disappointed in the way we were treated. They may want to think about a better bar staff!!I just want to add to the review that the owner contacted me and let me know that he wanted to thank me for the second review. Well, you're welcome. That's what happens when you have a bad business establishment. He stated that 30% service fee was refunded which it was never sent to my account so that was a lie, and the service was still bad and so is the food. The owner also stated that we ate the whole amount of the food and with that being said with the second order never coming out yes between the two of us, we did eat most of the crappy food that came out.Again, a business owner should not take one small bad review to this level, but being that they did, I will continue to take it higher . Very cool owners, nice outdoor vibe! Honestly I want to like this place, but the beer is just not what you'd expect from a "brewery". I've been here 4-5 times with friends, and have had a good time. Like I said the people here are GREAT, and as a lake anna local I love the fact that they invested in this brewery and bar because it offers us another option when we go out. Part of the issue is that the clients like the owners so much that everyone is afraid to provide feedback about the quality of the beer brewed here. My 2/5 rating is only for the beer, but at the end of the day, that's an important part of the equation when you run a brewery. Owners, if you are reading this, I hope you will take this feedback in the spirit it was intended. If you are open to it, my recommendation would be to invest in a brewing expert / consultant to come in for a day or two and provide some honest feedback on the product, and arm you with some specific ideas that can help make the beer as good as the rest of the experience at Log Home Brewing. I'll still be a customer either way, but I think you have an amazing opportunity to truly capture a strong following and lake anna market share going into the summer of 2024.
