Lobscouser Seafood Restaurant

Went to pick up some food during the early bird specials and it was fantastic! Two crab cakes with two sides and hush puppies was a steal!!! My husband got the salmon and it was delicious as well. This is the second time getting food from here and will definitely be back.

OMG - I have visited this restaurant several times over the years... no review until now - sheeesh! Sorry for the delay.I honestly cannot take away any stars from the place. Each time and it's been at least five, all my experiences have been enjoyable.Most recently, a few months back, my family and I, a group of 8 had a grand old time. I called about 2 weeks before our dinner date to secure seating on a Saturday evening.I made the reservations without push back and all was a go when my party arrived on the date/time.I tell ya, I am a super fan of the early bird deals. Talk about ordering 2, 3, 4 meals at a time and sharing among those in your party or taking the meals home to eat for later. This is the best ever! You have get there during the early bird special time though. That's the catch!My cocktail - tequila and pineapple was on point too!I love the blackened salmon and I am loving their hushpuppies too. Others in my party had mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly pleased.Even items they were featured on the menu online, the owner honored the menu online and prepared a dish not listed on the in restaurant menu for one of my guest.Parking - street parking is available right in front of the restaurant. However, parking garages are walking distance from the restaurant as well.Check them out if time permits - especially during the early bird special timeframe and I believe it's 5pm - 630pm on the days they are open.Have fun and enjoy life :)

This spot was referred by a coworker who's been a local her entire life. The restaurant is quaint and cute. I ordered to-go and the customer service, from what I experienced, was good. I asked for a sample of their soup of the day; smoke salmon bisque and was given a small sample. I order a bowl of bisque with a garden salad topped with grilled salmon. I live 5 minutes away from the restaurant so when I get home, something (Holy Spirit), told me to check my food. Soups in bag, check. Open my salad and well, you can see what I saw. Two dead bugs with wings. I turn the car around and proceed back to Lobscouser. The lady that placed my order was very understanding, although she believed it was "parsley" lol. I got my money back, now I'm ordering cheese sticks from Little Caesar *eye roll*I might try them again, maybe

Service was great and food was really good. I got the broiled combo platter. We asked the locals and it was highly recommended.

You cannot beat the early bird special at this place . The price 9.99 for an entree and two sides. The food is great with wonderful service you do need a reservation.

The food was really delicious. And in the end our waitress was nice but I need to comment on the slight micro aggression from the hostess that seated us. Not a smile, not a real greeting to us.. My husband is one of the featured exhibiting artists at The Arts Center across the street. He was so excited to see the seafood restaurant nearby that he can go to after the opening that he can take our son & our son's roommate to. I was looking forward to yelping the restaurant until the greeting of the hostess. I wanted to give a better review. First impressions matter. The waitress made up for the sour greeting. But not sure if I could recommend the spot.

First time I've ever been here, but I'm definitely coming back. The food was delicious . Service was excellent. Gumbo was great and the cinnamon bread pudding with the custard, wish I had ordered a large.

It sucked, first of all as I person with adhd I found it disturbing to have a threek instead of a fork. The Utensils were dirty, I asked for rice that was obviously microwaved, the fish was extremely oily, luckily the fries were good. And -100000 aura for being Christmas themed during July.

Customer service sucked. Upon arrival the "hostess" broomhilda approached us with no greeting, and a sourpuss attitude.Not mention mediocre food and the waitress's attitude that changed from ok to the same as the hostess. Needless to say we will not return and recommend you not waste your time and money.

Food was very bland. I got the seafood parmesan. It didn't taste like anything. And I only got one scallop. Hope the full menu doesn't taste like this daily.
