FOODWe had their mint and strawberry ice creams in a cone and their cherry sorbet. All were absolutely delicious. The mint was classic, and the cherry sorbet was refreshing. However, the strawberry flavor took the cake. The strawberries were pureed to perfection and blended into the ice cream seamlessly.SERVICEThe staff are kind and friendly!AMBIANCELocated in historic Yorktown, Little York Confectionery is a charming addition to the area. The shop offers a delightful mix of old-fashioned and modern candies, as well as unique novelties like gigantic gummy bears.PARKINGParking garages are conveniently located by the beach, just a short walk from the store.

Cute little store inside an historic building. Offerings included ice cream, candies and soda fountain. There was one person at the register who also prepared the ice cream. Not a ton of choices and the ice cream was good but not great.

Little York Confectionery on Main Street in Yorktown's historic area has been open since May. It's a cute candy shop with both handmade chocolates and pre-packaged candies, including some that will take you back to your childhood. The staff are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you're in Yorktown and looking for some delicious candy or refreshing ice cream, go up to Main Street to this cute shop. It's worth the walk up the hill from the beach.

This is a super cute store that you will find old time candy and newer candy. It's in historic Yorktown. They even have ice cream and I think some of the candy is made there. It was a very quick stop just to check it out but I ended buying some chapstick.....remember the kind in a tin where you slide open the top. I had to. I love it!

Hours in door don't match website or Yelp. Especially when workers are inside. This is just the most rude a small business can be. Ignoring potential future customers. They should step outside and have a conversation and possible explain why they are closed--out of food, emergency, etc.... I'm less inclined to spend money at a place that doesn't care about customers. The site said open till 5pm. Door sign said open. People inside moving about and the door was locked. Totally blew it. Either owner didn't care or an employee is untrained or showing up in body only. What ice cream shop wouldn't stay open on Memorial Day weekend?

I've tried chocolate from all over the country and all over the world and this place has perhaps the best chocolate I've ever tasted. I know taste is a very personal thing so I'll add that the chocolate is very high quality too. I wish I lived in Yorktown simply for this shop.
