In love! I have passed this place a few times heading into Gloucester. They are about 3-5 min on the left side when you come across the bridge. The store has so much charm! They have decor, jewelry, limited clothing, limited children's items, pillows, some furniture and many great gift items. Farmhouse vibes for sure! Heather was helpful while I shopped. She greeted me when I walked in and informed me of any sales they had. She then just let me shop to my hearts content. Allowing me to place items up on the cash rep area so I could use both hands to shop. She was awesome!

Cute stuff if they have any last time I went they didn't seem to have very much. But worth going in and checking it out a lot of cute things you don't REALLY need but are nice to have or for gifts. I did get a really cute ruffled crop top for a birthday . I swore to never go in after my first experience I find later the female at the counter to busy to acknowledge me is one of the owners. But the rest of staff in subsequent visits has been very nice and helpful. Maybe owners will learn no customers no income. Hope when you visit you get a friendly smile!

Right over the Coleman Bridge in Gloucester is the Merc. A family owned small business is one of my favorite stores to shop at. This store is so unique with items you will not find anywhere else! From home decor, clothing, jewelry, bags, socks etc. If you are in need of a giftfor someone this is the place to come! There is a new addition to the store where they will personally help you design your home, equipped with rugs, lamps, furniture and a bunch of fabric to choose from; making your piece personal. The store is very clean and well organized. The social media director is very good at posting new items on Facebook and Instagram. Their marketing skills are amazing! The staff and employees are very helpful and friendly. I only gave this store a 4 stars because the prices are a bit steep, but they always have sales and a clearance section. I myself being a business owner understand and always love supporting small businesses! This is by far my favorite small business to frequently visit!

The Merc is the place to be for home goods and decor. With a great back story, unique merchandise, the creativity and authenticity this store oozes is wonderful. With items that will make your home (and yourself) an instant Instagram success, it's worth the drive to check it out. Jewelry, apparel, home decor, gifts, fresh greenery, farm goodies, and cute cowboy boots - the Merc is an extension to the famous Little England Farm, where sales from both go towards EquipVA, a scholarship fund helping local people be equipped with tools to succeed in getting ahead in life. Whilst items can be on the pricey side, keep in mind when you're at the checkout that you're helping give back to the community through the store sales. If you have questions about it, staff members are more than happy and very enthusiastic to tell you more.

Beautiful store. Loaded with all sorts of interesting and lovely things. From home decor to crazy socks and almost everything in between. I imagine I will be doing a fair share of holiday shopping here for truly one of a kind gifts.

Maybe once upon a time a long long time ago this might have been a cute shop. Now, well... it's a confusing shop with not a whole lot of anything. Eclectic gone overboard. Some nice art pieces. Furniture I guess you can order ,but no prices. Dont come with youger kids, vulgar items with "sayings" with curse words, kitchen towels (marked way down because no one will buy them) and socks. If that wasn't enough country music with obscenities playing all over the store. Dont bother slowing down the car.

What an interesting shop full of surprises. They carry things you won't find anywhere else. Clothing is for the young, but I always come away with a pc of unique jewelry or something for my home. Check out the rack of unusual and funny greeting cards, too. They're expanding into space next door for the interior design department displaying several pieces of furniture, lamps and art.
