Lin's Garden

I ordered from Uber eats and they messed up myOrder. I called and they told me I could come in to get it fixed. Why would I come in if I ordered for delivery. Simple fix and they would not take care of it.

I was hoping for some basic Chinese food to hit the spot for delivery but wish I had some better news. I ordered the beef lomein lunch special that comes with fried rice, the fried dumplings, and the wonton soup.I wasn't able to eat the lomein/fried rice. It tasted like burnt plastic and had an unpleasant flavor throughout. Got through one bite and that was it.The dumplings were decent- not your typical chinese dumplings which have the thicker skin, but reminded me of the Nepali Momos which aren't as flavorful.The wonton soup was interesting but probably the best thing I ordered - the wontons were HUGE which I'm not sure if that is good or bad, a bit hard to eat. Expected some longer wonton skins.Wish I had better news but unfortunately will go somewhere else next time.

As promised, I decided to try again.. I ordered take out when I arrived. I wanted it to be as hot as possible!! I was not disappointed. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken combo with white rice, the egg roll, an order of fried dumplings, and a side of sweet and sour sauce. Everything was delicious and hot when I returned home!!! The dumplings were meatier than a picture I saw on yelp so I took a picture of the order I received. It took about 10 minutes to cook. Very reasonably priced and the young lady mentioned before was sweet as usual. I will definitely return sooner rather than later now that I know what to order!!!!!!

This was an experience. My lo mein tasted like it was frozen and reheated... it was watery and not as firm as I would have liked it. THe crab rangoon had the texture of being cooked yesterday and then reheated in a microwave today. The Orange chicken and sesame chicken were basically the same thing... they tasted like sweet and sour sauce, but the sesame had seeds. The dumplings tasted like they were filled without the flavor inside. The chicken in the orange chicken tasted like fish. The white rice was cooked to perfection. ‍

We've tried Lin's Garden a few times, but yesterday will probably be our last. We ordered over $60 worth of food. Simply put, it was not good. I ordered orange chicken--no hint of natural orange or orange peel: bright red sauce with no hint of orange taste and chicken was too chewy to eat. My husband said that his shrimp and broccoli was "not very good," and he normally doesn't say anything negative about food! The wonton soup had a weird taste to the broth. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were the only thing that were just "alright."

My partner and I go to Lin's Garden a lot. It is consistent every time, we eat the orange chicken combo. It's always hot, fresh, AND YUMMY! Love them there!

EGG FOO YOUNG. Not only is the egg foo young overly cooked and it's almost like they put it in a vat of Grease when they cook it they cook with way too much grease please for God's sake stop using so much grease in the wok!! It was overcooked and the shrimp with suspect and had somewhat of an off flavor but mostly what I was irritated with was a sneaky way it was packaged as you can see the container contains almost all rice and what they did was even under the egg foo young itself was another layer of rice under the egg foo young to make it look like the egg foo young was a larger portion. WHEN YOU ORDER EGG FOO YOUNG YOU'LL GET MOSTLY RICE. THE BROWN GRAVY THAT COMES WITH has no real discernible flavor it's just a brown gooey mess. NOTICE THE SCALLION PANCAKE IS ACTUALLY GLISTENING WITH GREASE. CAKE WITH OIL. ALMOST NO SCALLION BUT LOTS OF OIL.

Great place close to campus! When ever i don't know what I'm eating for dinner this is a go to. Great prices

This place is so good. I ordered over the phone after looking at the menu online. It was simple and easy to get my order placed. My order was ready in 10 minutes. I got a lunch order of sesame tofu and general tso's chicken both with fried rice and a drink. The total was 15 something before tip. The tofu was crispy and delicious and the sauce a good balance of sweet and salty. The fried rice was lack luster but the flavors of the main make up for it. The GTC was also very good. Nothing ground breaking, just good food at a good price. That's exactly what you want with Chinese food. Would recommend time and time again.
