Lee's Fish House

My family has been coming here since I was a kid. For years. Unfortunately I seem to always miss the crabs. But the other day I went to get some fresh Spots and Lake Trout, they looked good and fresh in the refrigerated case;however, the lady of the Lee's Fish House told me, after I had waited to be seen for quite some time, that because she's the only one there she doesn't feel like cleaning the fish, so no fish for me or my family . No real suggestions or anything just a no. Like maybe I could have come back but give her some time or just give me the whole fish and I clean them myself, a discount would be nice in that case... but just no! Nothing! How are you called the Fish House, With plenty of fish, but not selling any?!?! Blew my mind! I had my taste buds set on some fresh fish too . ‍

I ordered a half dozen of #2 crabs. The size and price was good but the seasoning tasted weird. Made the crabs really unpleasant. Took about 20mins to get them steamed. The workers were nice.

I've been to this location a few times. It looks fairly clean inside. I mostly come to this location for steamed crab legs. I've never had to wait too long and the prices aren't bad. I have gotten steamed shrimp here before as well but they don't devein it for you. If you buy fish they will cut it and clean it for you how you want. They also offer cooked food. The customer service is decent.

Long wait and crabs are so small and dirty. I can still feel the grit in my mouth. Mud in the gills and barnacles on most of them.
