Larkspur Swim & Racquet Club

Not sure what to tell you regarding this spot. I honestly never knew this existed until a college friend invited me to his daughters' joint b'day party (his eldest just turned 14 while his middle daughter turned 11). My friend informed me Larkspur is a members-only facility, so you pay a fee (I'm assuming annually since I didn't ask) for membership. He and his wife rented out the facility for the evening - which turned out to be for 4 hours, so his girls and their friends could galavant and enjoy the amenities. Lifeguards were included with the rental - well, it's essential, but you know what I'm saying. Larkspur offers an L-shaped swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, an outdoor grill, an indoor banquet room, plenty of patio seating and, I believe, locker rooms. I didn't swim - I just wanted to get out of the house for a little bit (and the weather was perfect on Friday, 8/21!), see some friends and hang out. But Larkspur is a nice spot and obviously perfect for hosting summer events. JV

The building has been updated and can now be used as the hub for the community! Clubs, parties, etc can take place in the updated clubhouse. People driving by are now noticing the building. Larkspur Swim and Racquet Club was the place to be 25-30 years ago, let's make it that way again!

Looks like a lot has been put into this place recently. It has a whole new facelift. A good place to have a small party. It has a big pool with 5 lanes, a diving board in a separate deep end. Tennis courts are cleaned up with a new backboard. I love that the community is involved with fall fun, Christmas, food trucks, etc.

The facility is old. The pool looks acceptable. The tennis courts are in terrible condition. Impossible to play real tennis. Parking lot is in disrepair and appears to have been so for some time. Lots of rules.The worst part the pool doesn't even open until 12:30 in the afternoon daily! Plus isn't open until June 14th when schools out! Except weekends! WHAT?! SMH at that. I am not in school! Keep looking. Worth the drive to go somewhere else.

Great place for a small birthday/ baby shower. Attended for a baby shoer, it was a really nice place. Fits at least 6 tables, clean, easy to spot. I would recommend
