Don't forget to look up, as the ceilings are filled with strikingly gorgeous pieces ! I walked in and just stopped and took it all in! I love mermaids and I spotted them everywhere! There are rooms and rooms of cards, jewelry, lamps, garden decorations, candles, soaps and more! Mazes of treasures await you and your eyes will be in for a creative treat! In the back of the store there is a pantry with kitchen gadgets, mixes, honey, linens and crafts. Further into this cove of gems you will find antiques and signage, then trek upstairs to the 1/2 price floor! Truly you can spend hours here. Get inspired and enjoy this one of a kind shop!! Beware of the elderly lady who follows you around lurking over your shoulder and listing rules whileyou shop. "No photos"... "the artist want to protect their creations" "don't touch" - I said l, it would seem like they'd want to advertise their wares so folks would come in and buy! Furthermore, who's going to come in and copy these artists? How many stained glass professionals are there around here? I was very disappointed when I pulled up into the lot of the store and saw a note on the door stating they are closed until November. My GPS did not mention the store was closed nor did the website. Why not let people know the store is closed? I came from out of town and drove 45 minutes from my rental place. communicating store hours via the website would help this business.

Where do I start with this place? To say there is too much to see is an understatement. We stopped hoping to find a few glass souvenirs from our time at the beach- we were blown away and added a few years to our projected retirement dates with of purchases. Don't let this place fool you - it goes on and on and on...room after room filled with lovely things. The staff was friendly and helpful.If you're looking for unique gifts and souvenirs, and you don't find something at Lammer's, I don't know what to tell you...go back and try again!

Taking a quick get-away weekend with my hubby and wanted to stop back at this wonderful gift store to get some French Soap.My last experience was a bit different then what you would expect when you could be a potential shopper. Despite my first experience this place is amazing. The selection of merchandise is huge.Really nice things from French soaps , honey , kitchen gadgets, edible things to blown glass.There blown glass is amazing. Artistry at its finest. To my surprise the lady who was grumpy greeted me as I entered.That was very welcoming. I went straight for the soap area and she ask if I needed help. I told her I was back to get some more of their wonderful soaps. She let me know they were 20% off. I was excited so I got a few extra. She also came back shortly to see if I needed anything else and I did. She was courteous and ask the younger lady the question.The younger lady was cashing me out and let me know I could order from them . That's nice to know that I won't have to wait till next year to get some more of these lovely soaps. So don't let some of the negative things said about this place stop you from going to experience all the wonderful selection they have.

Lammers has an amazing selection of truly unique items from soaps, vintage records, ornaments, blown and stained glass. It is not just a store but an experience. It's a great place for fun and interesting gifts and definitely worth a visit.

I've been a faithful customer for several years. But now I'm really angry. Message was posted as follows: "We will be temporarily closed until Sept.9th. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you when we open!" I make the drive all the way out to the store shortly after their opening time on the 9th as stated -- and it's still closed. I wait in the parking lot hoping they're just running late. At approximately 10:35, while still sitting outside their store, a NEW message gets posted in place of the original one that they are closed until the 16th. What?? The original message dated August has been removed and, still using the August date, a new message inserted in its place. It makes it appear as though they never told customers they would be open on the 9th. That's shady as hell. I base my vacation in large part because of this store being a much loved favorite. I've left positive reviews and raved about it to friends. I've spent a great deal of money there every year. But this is so incredibly unprofessional I won't return.

I love this store. I think the bad reviews are kinda silly cause they really are not reviewing the actual store. They are not a rest stop and they probably have a million tourists stopping and asking to use the bathroom. Also all 4 times I have met the owner she has been friendly. So anyway every single time I go to OBX i stop here. My mom also comes into town and wants to stop here every time. The amount of things to look at is endless. They have gorgeous blown glass items. They have all kinds of handmade stuff , soaps and oils and jams and jellies. Then the back of the place is kind of like a pickers paradise with nic nacs and gas signs and barber poles. Cool old stuff all over. It a great place to find a neat gift for that special someone!

This is one of the best gift shops on the Outer Banks. We had searched for art glass on our Outer Banks trips for years and finally found it here. We can't go to the area without a trip to Lammers.

Love this store, just wish I had more time to shop this summer!! They had a wide variety of products and gifts! If I was a local it would be my go to when I needed a gift for somebody!! Can't wait to go back!!!

Love this shop!!! I've driven by many times on my way to VA. Stopped in for my daughters Birthday shopping and bought every gift here! The homemade sea glass candle is to die for. They also have Charles Albert Jewelry, my favorite! Got my first piece in Savannah Lowcountry! He has such talent and each piece is so unique! Will definitely be back! THE GLASS IS AMAZING!!
