of all the people in this course are amazing specially Charlie! I enjoyed the view! The price is really good for this view. Come here to chill and just appreciate the nature and play a quick 9 round, open a can of beer and leave with a smile always look at the bright side they didn't charge you hundreds of dollars and you're able to enjoy the outdoor with your favorite sport! I'm coming back for sure! Thank you! It was a lot of fun!

So this is a bastard of a 9 round. The worst is that you understand what is coming. It is tight. Place in whatever gross thing you say. It's tight. Play short. Serve you better. One love

Challenging course. Bring extra balls if you're not a decent iron striker. With all the elevation changes and wind it makes it tough if you don't know yardages on your clubs. I only had to use my driver on number 9. I do carry a 3 wood roughly 250-260 and used that on number 1. This is definitely a course where you will work through the bag. Down side though the bunkers are not bunkers. They're pits with a a small amount of sand and some rocks and a little mud. Other than that it is a very tight course with a lot of blind shots. Good luck.

Wow. This place is soooo cool. I used the driving range a few years ago and chipped and putt at their practice facility once. I've never played the course until today. It's an absolute hidden gem and I get to play for only $15 as part of my membership with the Hampton Roads Golf Club. Here you go:*Clubhouse - nothing special. I don't hang out at a golf course so this part doesn't really matter.*Practice facility - there's a separate chipping and putting green. Both roll great with a good amount of undulation.*Driving range - there's an upper and lower deck. You have to hit off mats. Irons only on the top deck. Great view from the top deck.*Course - It's a nine hole golf course that is VERY challenging. Lots of blind spots. The greens have a ton of undulation. There are great views on just about every hole.I can't wait to go back because playing a course like this will certainly help improve your game.

Absolutely gorgeous 9 holes. Beautiful, at times confusing, layout that the guys in the pro shop explained to me before I hit the tee box. Even though it's a par 34, it's a very tough nine with a lot of elevation changes and blind shots. Greens rolled really well and the views on every hole were not to be missed. If you are left or right off the tee, the only real problem is the shaggy grass that eats balls for lunch. I had to take two drops even though I know I was standing on my ball. Can't say enough about this course. Definitely play if you are in the area.

Another one of Merv Troyer's Hampton Roads Golf courses. This course is secretively tucked behind the campus of Old Dominion University. If you didn't know it was there you would think you were parking at a campus building. I don't say this often, so get ready...this course rocks! Let me tell you why I am a fan. #1 The views are just amazing. I am not sure how they managed to fit nine holes of golf on such a thin strip of land but I am glad that they did. #2 The range is actually really nice. This is a rarity in this area, the one major drawback is the artificial mats. The upper deck is kinda cool though.#3 The chipping/putting green is big and has a range of different shots/putts what a great way to unwind after class or work. #4 The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have been here several times to just chip and putt which the course makes no money on. Since they are so friendly, I usually buy a soda because I feel bad!#5 The rates are great for a challenging course that is nothing like anything else you'll experience in the area!Nice Course! Keep and open mind and give it a try!

Interesting 9-hole course with a lot of blind shots! You definitely have to play it at least twice to appreciate the course. The only downsides were the greens were aerated late, which made the putting a challenge and I'd like the course to open earlier.

Golf course is OK, as long as you are just a hacker like me and not a serious golfer. It's only a 9 hole course so you have to play twice preferably from a different set of tees the second time around. Teeoff.com price said $19, $38 for 2 people (in addition to the $3.98 website surcharge I paid online) due at the course. When I got there, the guy at the registration desk charged me $48 for 2 people. I showed them my receipt from tee off.com and he told me it was wrong. So I paid it and e-mailed the tee off.com people later to complain about the extra $10 charge and they told me that Lambert's Point personnel told them that they had only charged me $34 total (not $48). So i sent the tee off.com people a copy of my receipt that showed $48 was paid and the response from them was that the difference was likely due to taxes. Really? 41% tax?So beware of what you may be charged by the course if you book thru a discount web site.

Do not make reservations through the website! Made reservations and had no way to modify the time or date. Lambert's uses Golf Now and it has no way to adjust the t-times! What a rip off!
