Lady Victorian

6/22/20I met the owner of this store that has been around for 34 years. The owner of this store is named Billie, but Jean us not her lover....okay, ever since Billie sang a small portion of that song, it got stuck in my head.I don't know how many times I have been in this store, but come this September, this store will be closing its doors forever. The Coronavirus outbreak really put things in perspective for Billie and will close some time in September. So "Try to remember the kind of September When life was slow and oh, so mellow. Try to remember the kind of SeptemberWhen grass was green and grain so yellow." If you do remember this place after September, it will be in memories...yes all your troubles will be do far away. No shadows hanging over you... Okay, my mind is going in all different directions. Billie has a good store here and a fun crewmembers. It is a shame the store will be closing its doors this year, but Billie does sell cool clothing and other accessories. I enjoyed our talk with Billie. Should we stop by again this week, I am sure we will find something else worthwhile. Ws enjoyed shopping kn your store Billie.

This is one of my favorite stores of all time! It's a must if you are lucky enough to go to Duck. Billie, the owner and all of the ladies are lovely! What I like best is the range of clothing, jewelry, accessories and even shoes! I always find exactly what I am looking for and more! Every item I have purchased since 2003 are still stylish, well made and just plain sharp! The last time I shopped there I found so much I had to put some things back and make choices. Love this Shoppe! Look at the handmade necklace and earrings I purchased to wear to my sorority black tie event!

This place is ao unique! Many antique items. Clothes, jewelry, purses, shoes an more. I can spend an hour or two shopping in here. So much to look at!. The lady's that work here are so nice. When I ever visit again, I must stop in!

I fancy myself a bit of an independent fashion store aficionado and I have found quite the gem here! Even though the store is larger than most boutiques (NOT a bad thing of course) the staff/owners were lovely and I finally found the southern charm I've heard so much about on my trip. (Granted, once my stack of "I'll take these" pile started piling up, they became a bit friendlier to me and not just the daily locals). I was lucky enough to arrive on the off season and their sale was one of the best boutique sales I've ever seen from coast to coast! Their prices are independent boutique prices; if you don't know what I mean by that then please don't be tacky and shocked when they aren't Banana Republic (or any random mall chain store). You'll find what you won't find at the mall: original, well made, higher end, and absolutely worth the prices. If you are looking for a jewel that also sells local jewelry then meander to the donuts on a stick and then saunter here. Just wipe off the powder from the donut first! The clothing is too nice for next door donut dust. (Which is also delicious).

I visit this clothing store each and every time I am in Duck--which is 4-5 times per year. The clothing is high quality and unique. Each time I wear a purchase from Lady Victorian, people ask me where I bought it as the department stores do not carry any styles like it. The service is very friendly and the staff and owner make suggestions for clothing or gifts which are perfect and you may not have noticed because the inventory is phenomenal. I am going to Duck in a few weeks and will definitely stop by and update my wardrobe and I'm looking forward to it.Carole H.
