Lackey Sauce BBQ

I was driving after visiting the American Revolutionary Museum and saw their sign. Very friendly service! I ordered the half rack of babyback ribs with beans. It came with cornbread. I ordered a side of fries. It took me 2 hours to get to the hotel, but everything still tasted wonderful! The portion size was good too. Will definitely stop by if I get back to Yorktown.

The people that work here are very very nice. However the food is not BBQ. I went today for lunch and ordered the Brisket. What I received was the correct cut of meat that wasn't smoked and wasn't well trimmed. The fat left on the meat was very unappetizing and because it was baked in an oven instead of smoked in a smoker the flavor was severely lacking. I love good BBQ and this just wasn't BBQ.

We live in Yorktown and kept passing by this restaurant. Today we decided we were going to try their food and now we regret waiting so long to eat here. Their food is beyond delicious! It has so much flavor, they're made to order. Once you place your order your food is cooked to perfection. The staff was super sweet and it was definitely another reason why we will be back. Another huge plus is they give Military discount!!! Who doesn't love a discount? Please stop by and try their food, you won't be disappointed.

Poor customer service. The food was expensive and bland AF! I was excited that a new restaurant opened in the area but was sadly disappointed!!!

Good home cook food. Just the smell of food as you walk in this place is to die for. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I believe the owner who happens to also be the cook is very nice. She makes everything from scratch. I tried their pulled pork sandwich and their ribs and both were excellent. The portions a very good and satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, especially if you work at the naval weapon station.
