La Parrilla Mexican Grill - Bridgedport

I went here for dinner one evening. The food was good as was the service. They have lots of setting, including high top tables, booths, regular tables, and bar seating. The restaurant has a sleekness to it with the cream colored furniture. The staff is super friendly. I had the Pollo Monterey which has chicken with grilled onions and mushrooms, with refried beans, and corn tortillas. The dish was very good; the beans were perfection! They have a variety of drinks. I tried the sangrita (sangria and margarita). It was okay. I'll probably try a margarita next time.

Pretty bland food. Went there recently, waiter never asked about a refill on anything. It's like honestly they don't even try anymore.I went in to eat and the hostess looked at me, didn't say anything and I told her I want a table.

I came here after a long day at work and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service. I only ordered a taco so I didn't try any of the entrees but they looked amazing.

I've always had a pleasant experience at all of the La Parrilla establishments that I've been to. The food is extremely fast to come out and all of the waitstaff are very attentive to what you need. It's also worth the money you pay. The last time I went with someone - yesterday actually - they were surprised at how cheap their meal was. I kinda forgot because I was used to it

The Aztecs themselves could not construct a pyramid to rival this establishment. The food is awesome. The bartender is awesome. The margaritas are fucking awesome. The manager is awesome. Even the hostess Sky (spelling?) is awesome. When i die bury me under here with a molcajete.

La Parrilla Mexican Grill - Bridgeport is so convenient for me as it's right in my neighborhood. I love grabbing food here from time-to-time for takeout, but my friend and I decided to dine in on one occasion two weeks ago.I enjoyed my meal here and the waitstaff was very attentive and quick. The food also came out very fast and was super tasty. I find that sometimes, my takeout dishes are over seasoned, but when dining in, I asked for no salt and the meal was perfect. I got the seafood chimichangas, so good! This location is always clean and is rarely ever super busy. I'm usually in and out very quickly.I didn't make the best choice with my desert selection. The fried ice cream was unbearably cold and stiff on the inside and the outer shell was stale-tasting with too much cinnamon. My friend got the cheesecake and he seemed to enjoy it.We got drinks as well and my friend really enjoyed his margarita with the passion fruit syrup. I got the sangria and it was very flavorful and refreshing.

So I still haven't found that great Mexican joint and this one isn't it either. They are good I'm just spoiled living most of my life in California. The service was excellent and they made a change to our menu for us. My wife wanted ceviche so they made it for her even though it wasn't on the menu. They brought us out the queso dip it was good and a big serving. They also brought out two other spicy salsas a chipotle and a habanero house made salsa. The habanero was good but spicy and the chipotle was smoky and tasty. I liked themThe ceviche was very good they did a great job and the serving was huge. Here's where the greatness stopped. The carne asada burrito was not good. I would say at two. The flavor was not good the inside didn't have the right ingredient ratios. The asada was rubbery and flavorless and I don't know why they drench them in this white cheese sauce. I prefer fresh ground melted cheese but it did t add anything to this already poor burrito. Maybe I go back maybe I order something else. The service and the rest of the food was good. Not amazing like coming back next week but good

This location is conveniently located in my friend's apartment building and we traveled to visit for a nice Mexican dinner.We all ordered Margaritas and they had a smaller menu of options than some of the other local Mexican restaurants (which is actually nice-too many options can be overwhelming). I ordered the Sangrita which was a perfect blend of a Margarita and Sangria and absolutely deadly. 10/10 would drink again.Their food menu was the opposite of the drinks-its long, overwhelming and no pictures. It's a diner style where you have a dinner mat that you flip over-but there is sooooo much to look at. I ended up taking the easy way out and ordered a combo of a beef taco, chalupa and chile relleño. The chalupa was absolutely not what I was expecting-like a bean tostada-but delicious! The taco was very flavorful and stuff to the top with beef and topping on the plate. What really made the evening was the Chile relleño. It's absolutely unique in that it was battered and deep fried. I order a chile relleño most times I eat Mexican and this is the first I had like that-and it's deadly delicious.I give them a 4 star because the menu reallllly needs to be dealt with-it made it difficult to find things to try and I just kind of chose the standard fare.

It was so awesome, awesome food. Great service I had the Vegetarian enchiladas. So good and I'm going to have fried ice cream

Used to love this location, but the last few times I've been my food has been cold and always get sat at a table next to screaming children (sorry, but it never fails).
