l'italien Pizza & Pasta

I just called for a large pizza, white, mushroom, ham and deliverer. 1 1/2 miles. $40.00!No thank you.Drive thru little Cesar's is closer and 7.00.

I been wanting to come here after hearing when It opened that it had lamb and rice, but every time I am around Grand Mart and I go it was not yet at the time it was open and so I had to leave and than Monday I came and thought it was 11am that it opened but when I checked my phone it said opened at 1030am it was 1049am so I went in. I see it said change of new owners so that was fine. Inside was clean and spacious they had a waiting area by the kitchen. After I ordered the lamp with rice platter on the Mediterranean side, although I wanted to get the lunch special lamb with rice with a soda. He gave me the platter which is wholly tons of it. It was delicious though. I will go back next time when I am around there to get chicken and lamb with rice Tons of sauce even on the side gave white sauce and red sauce. I didn't ask what red sauce was, but I tasted it and it was hot sauce. I already poured the white sauce all over my food so I didn't need the hot sauce.Waiting didn't take that long though so that was great.

I had heard great things and was so pumped to finally try this place. From my understanding, they have new management as of a year or two ago. My experience wasn't great, the pizza was thin and very floppy. The poutine was tasty but the soggy. The biggest disappointment was the chicken strips. They were the same crappy ones I used to get for high school lunch - thin, lack of breading, lack of meat, and overly processed. For the price, I expected the strips to at least pretend like they could have been hand-breaded. You get better quality from the Tysons frozen strips. That being said, our order was accurate and on time.

First time trying this place. I was excited to try a local pizza place. I placed my order via Uber eats for pickup. When I walked in, I was not immediately greeted although a worker looked at me. It took him about 5 mins to come over to the counter and ask if I was placing an order or picking up. I waited for about 5 more minutes for the pizza to be ready. I stood in the dining area which is right next to the kitchen area. Once my pepperoni pizza was ready, I asked for Parmesan cheese and red pepper. They do not have to go packets but will give you some in these to go cups. Once I got home, I was excited to eat a slice. The pizza was still hot and I took a bite. It's good pizza but it tasted like it was warmed up and not fresh. I love the crunch of the crust at the top but on the bottom, it was different. I will try again since it's local and the cheese was really good.

I finally took a shot at L'Italien because I've heard good things about their chicken and rice entree. I'm glad, because I ended up ordering from them twice in five days. I ordered delivery via the Slice app on 10/11/22 and 10/15/22. Through the app, the transactions were quick and easy, and delivery was faster than I anticipated (roughly 30 mins from payment to door). Obviously, I can't comment on the establishment, but their delivery service is prompt and courteous - no complaints at all. In regards to their food, I didn't understand how an Italian place offered a dish such as chicken over rice. When it finally came time for me to try them, I noticed on their menu they offered a "Mediterranean Side," where the chicken over rice dish was located. For my initial "visit," I ordered the chicken over rice and their poutine (I wanted to compare their poutine to Salmich's). The chicken over rice was fantastic while the poutine was good (but not as good as Salmich's). I was impressed enough with the chicken over rice that on 10/15/22 I ordered from L'Italien again. This time, though, I ordered the lamb over rice which I enjoyed even more than the chicken. I will eventually try their Mixed over Rice (chicken & lamb) and Shrimp over Rice because, seriously, it's delicious. I can't wait to order from L'Italien again. They offer some awesome food and their delivery service is quick. Thank you! JV

This place is a must! If you're ever craving some NY style pizza and Lamb over rice, this is the place to go! Serving is huge, affordable prices, and just simply good food! First time ordering from DoorDash from here based on the Yelp reviews .... This is AMAZINGLY delicious! Got the pasta with pesto cream sauce with breaded chicken. Everything is cooked perfectly! Breaded chicken is very crusted and crispy which I like. Pesto cream sauce is not too heavy it is just the amount of perfection. :)

Great food, and service. Pizza was good, but the Stromboli was incredible. Military, police, churches, hospital, senior, firefighters, police and senior discount

This busy little place does not disappoint. Judging by the constant stream of people calling in to order, grabbing a slice or two, and ordering at the counter, it's a neighborhood favorite. We ate in the perfectly clean dining room. Service was quick and friendly, and our gyros and cheesesteak came out as quickly as one could hope. The fries were hot and fresh; drinks are in a fridge. Everything was delicious, and prices are reasonable, with lunch specials every day. If you're in the neighborhood, give this place a try.

Food was good. Ordered the vodka sauce penne with breaded chicken and spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately our tiramisu had mold all over the top upon arrival (photo attached). Seemed like a nice restaurant so I was very disappointed. Food should have never left the shop like this. Makes me question if the food I ate before seeing the desert was even safe. Won't be ordering again.
