Masarap talaga! On a whim I stopped by Kusina because I was craving pan de sal... which they had (call first) but there was a generous selection of fresh baked desserts, and the smell of the food from the kitchen was so great, I had a hard time deciding what I wanted- even right before closing the pancit was so good! Pork skewers were on point and the turon was sweet and crispy. (Reminded me of my Filipino nanny's) they even had all the good condiments! The service was amazing and I really enjoyed talking to the staff. There are places to sit down and eat at the restaurant but I chose to take my food to go so I could eat like a pig in the comfort of my own home! I will be back to try all of their other specialties soon!

Delicious food and a really lovely staff! Wasn't quite sure what to order when I arrived, but the folks working let me try a few of the options out and I landed on the pork adobo with pancit. It was very delicious and perfectly hit the spot! Def check them out if you're in the area :)

This is an authentic Filipino restaurant serving the best of filipino cuisine in a cafeteria type setting. What we love to eat here is their pork sisig, pork dinuguan and of course for dessert the turon (banana lumpia). They also have pork lumpia, pansit and chicken adobo. Very affordable for the quality of food you get. The ambiance is casual and inviting. The owner is very friendly.too,

Food was exceptional!!! The people were gracious and kind. They gave us samples so we could pick out our favorites, the chicken adobe was excellent, the lumpia were to die for, especially the banana dessert ones. You wouldn't think the food was exceptional by the outside, but you would be wrong. So so good!!!

I knew something would go wrong when I didn't see the ToyToy sign, even though google said they were open. The place looks the same, just different decoration. The food looked a little dry on the line. I ordered the chicken pancit and 10 pork lumpia. I'm not going to knock the taste. It wasn't as good as the previous management but still good and authentic feeling. The issue was the lack of chicken in the pancit and pork in lumpia. I should have took the picture first but I was hungry. There was enough chicken on top to let you know chicken was in the name of the dish. Nothing more. The lumpia tastes more like veggie lumpia than pork. Service was ok. Nothing special. 1 more plus might have got them 3 stars. Now I have to go to chesapeake for the level of filipino food I want.

This is the best meal I've had since moving to Virginia. The owner (I'm assuming) was so kind and walked us through their daily menu and thoroughly explained each dish to us. Not once did I feel like I was a bother or taking up time; she was kind and offered us samples of anything we'd like to try. The chicken adobo, pancit, Kare-Kare, ginataang gulay, and lumpia were impeccable. I audibly gasped at how delicious the kare-kare was; I cannot wait to return!
