When i need retail therapy but I'm ballin' on a budget i head to Kool Bins... Its off Little Creek Rd in a shopping center. Items are like $7 on Sat and Sun and the prices go down daily through Weds. When you walk in you grab a blue bag and you head to the bins to see what goodies you'll find... Its so much fun. You can't open the boxes but you can take them to the box station and the employees will open the boxes for you to see what inside. You never know what your gonna get. Could be a laptop, could be slip covers for the couch. The possibilities are endless. The best part is you already know what your gonna pay per item when you walk in. The staff and owner are very nice. Everytime i see the owner he's smiling and socializing with customers. The staff speaks very highly of him. He makes working there fun.. I joke with him and tell him I'm his future wife... Lol... But its a cool place to check out.. I lowkey don't want to tell everyone because this place is a hidden gem. Lol. Check them out!!!

What can I say about Kool Bins other than this was a very " different" type of shopping experience. After hearing so many wonderful things about this business and finally decided to join my mother of age 74 and her Bestie Ms Mary of age 84...I am thinking to myself as I walked in that perhaps this way of shopping may not be my cup of tea but boy oh boy was I mistaken. I normally do not Thrift Shop but Kool Bins is very organized and clean.. Kool Bins buys large quantities of packages from places like Amazon that have been returned or never reached their destination and allows their clients to sift thru all sorts of undelivered of packages and purchase the items for a VERY LOW PRICE. Rummaging thru huge bins you can find packages that have a variety of items such as supplements, costumes, household good, accessories such as cell phone covers and even higher ticket items like laptops, etc. They offer daily deals such at $2 Tuesdays where each item that you choose to perchase will only be $2!!!One of the strict codes of conduct while shopping at Kool Bins is to not open packages that are sealed. If you wish to see any of the items that are not clearly visible thru the packaging, you are I trudged to take your package to a viewing table in the back.. here a very lovely representative will open ALL the packages of choice so that you can actually see and inspect your new findings because actually commuting ti purchase. I only went to Look and I left with 15 items . So I think it's worth to check out if you are in the area. Please note that if you followed their social media page, one can see when they receive a new shipment and more or less see what Kool Bins will receive in advance. Overall I will be returning to see what other great finds I can scoop up.

Have you ever wondered what happens to all that stuff you returned to Amazon, well you're about to find out.If you don't have much time, this is not the place for you. If you have plenty of time, if you want to do something different, this is the place for you. We went on a Saturday, when they had the most amount of product, and things are also the most expensive. The whole process is very time intensive. Each package is in one of these bin style tables, and you have to pick it up and decipher what it is, or decipher whether or not you want it, or if you care enough to take it to have it opened for you. Do you have it opened for you, you have to take it to a station or a staff member opens it, removes the item, then reseals the package. The staff is very friendly, they're incredibly helpful, and they seem to genuinely care and want to help their customers. If you have the patience to be able to sort through things, this is the thing and place for you. There are some really great deals. We Price compared several items that we found versus retail prices and the seven dollars was a steal. That being said, I don't have the patience for this type of thing, and I'm unsure if I'll ever go again.

Grab a bag a let's keep it Kool Bins (KB) style. Get ready for a treasure dice like no other. Come early and start in line for the fun conversation as you talk about what good finds you can score at KBs!So first up you get in line, again come early! The deals are not for the weary. Gloves are recommend but not required. When you get in trust when I say it is Black Friday cray at Walmart a la 1992 foolery in here. You quick grab an IKEA tote and rush yourself bin to bin and search for the boxes of deals. If you're like ehhhhh.... should I? Put. It. In. Your. Bag!! People are going wild for product after product as you bin dive from one to another. It's high intensity and it'll die down at stone 1130am. You can find blankets, PJs, vacuums, LED projectors, wireless ear buds, gaming headsets, and so much more!!Sat the deals start at $7 per item and drop in price daily until they restock at the end of the week before the items are stocked and the shopping deals restart next Saturday. Each weekend is a new discovery. The good thing is thy have staff that will open up boxes for you to carefully inspect the products. The guy I had was an IT tech so he was able to tell me if my gear was legit and with the buy. They were fun and really made sure your products were worth the hype. So I would definitely grab a group of friends and divide/conquer the bins. Now know this, once you're at the sorting box table you can easily decline or accept the unboxed offers. No guilt, hassle, worry...I like that. They keep it moving onto the next item you want unboxed. You can choose to research the bins and it's worth a second lap. I was there a good two hours easy. You then get in line and check out and they'll bag it up for you. Check out the rules online before you go they are pretty on it with the rules, but as long as you follow them you're good - no problems. Oh and you can return back to the unboxing station several times if needed. There's even extra empty bins for you to sort your finds and drop off your second guesses. So I'd definitely check it out and you'll have a Kool experience!

First time we went to Kool Bins, we were already huge fans of Treasure Hunt Bin Liquidators, we go daily, literally, so we were excited. But from day 1, we were discouraged at Kool Bins and I want to tell you why.First, Im a reseller, and the electronics and gadgets and car parts you find a ton of everyday at Treasure, you don't see at Kool. It's different stuff. Kool Bins seems to be more home decor and home stuff, very, very limited access narrow compared to what you get at Treasure. That's fine, though, if that's all your looking for. Then there is the issue of having to have them open boxes for you. The best part of Treasure is the adventure of opening the boxes yourself at the box table and seeing what it is, and you do it on your time schedule and will.Next, no shopping carts!?!? The bags they give you get heavy quick and cut off blood to your hands. It's a nightmare negotiating how to carry it when it's full. Carts are so much easier, especially for us bulk buyers.Lastly, and perhaps the worst one of all, nobody under age 16 can look through the bins, because at my kids were told, they have "unfriendly" items. It's mostly toys, no tools, every thing is boxed since they don't let you open things, so, I truly don't know what they mean. See, the best thing about Treasure Hunt, is my kids go hunt other bins FOR ME, knowing what I'm looking for, so it's a team effort to find good stuff. 4 sets of eyes and hands, singular in mission, is MUCH better than one set.

It's an interesting little place. Lots of discounts available. The best deals are on Saturday or Sunday. Odds and ends are everywhere but you can definitely find some great deals. You're buying what people return on Amazon, and since it can't be resold as new, places like this buy them and resell.

It was a great place. You can't open the boxes but you can scan it from the Amazon app because everything there is from Amazon. And see what the item is. And if you want to have the box opened and actually look at the item you can go to a counter. They open it up for you show it to you if you don't want it. They tape it back up and put it back. It was an amazing place and when I go back to Virginia Beach I will be spending a little more time there. I just went in quickly and got quite a few deals!!
