Had a great day at Kiskiack! Visiting Virginia and brought my clubs. Friendly staff got me on the course with a couple of other golfers. A nice course and pleasant experience!

Loved this course! Were visiting for our first golf vacation and had played Jamestown at Williamsburg National and Golden Horseshoe Green prior two days -- this course was easily in the best condition of the three for mid April. Granted, it's shorter but it's also more scenic and the greens were tough yet consistent. Bunkers were also the best of the three courses. Of the three golfers in our group Kiskiack won the trip, hands down. I play to a 14 btw.

This is a very fun course to play. I always enjoy my time because this course has lots to offer.Clubhouse: Nothing extravagant. It's not so high end you feel out of place but it's certainly better than a city course. Friendly staff. There's a nice bar/restaurant. The pro shop sells lots of pretty things.Driving range: You get to hit off of grass. It's an open field so target practice become difficult. When the space is wide open, every shot appears to be a good shot even if it's off several yards.Golf course:- Tee boxes and fairways - these are always in great condition- Greens - these are soft (so if you spin the ball these are your friends), roll about a 9/10 on the stimpmeter, and you get a fair amount of undulation- Bunkers - I was in them a lot today and all had ample amounts of sand- Course layout - Again, this golf course is fun to play. It doesn't play overly difficult despite playing a little bit of up and down hills. Intermediate and experienced golfers would enjoy this course. Also, it's not one of those courses where you can lose a lot of golf balls. Errant shots can easily be found.Overall, a golf course I wouldn't mind going back to whether it's a tournament or to hang with my golf squad. I've been going to this place since 1999. I plan to continue playing this course at least once a year.We played today for only $29/person. That's a steal!

Great course and excellent customer service with the Pro Shop. But for the price don't think that you will have an excellent golfing experience. Expect the maintenance crew to consistently interfere with your game by mowing and leaf blowing while in the action of your swing or to slow the pace of play with keeping you waiting to hit onto the green while they walk around checking for dry spots. The maintenance crew definitely needs some training on the golfers are paying customers and expect to be able to play without interference. For the price and a better golf experience I would recommend Williamsburg National or Colonial Heritage (USGA rated).

The course is in great shape, except for the bunkers. It's no even real sand. Still a fun course to play on

I had a wonderful round of golf here on Wednesday that will inspire me to return. The course was in good shape in spite of the heavy rains three days earlier. We had cart access to the course and things were well dried up already. The layout is interesting and offers challenges from every tee, of which there are several to choose from. There is a decent practice facility to get warmed up on. Good course conditions for early spring and better than some pricier courses in the area right now. Definitely check it out.

Played here today with my son and had a great time. Greens were aerated a week ago, so had to play through plugs. No problem as their website and Golf Now both advertised this, so I knew what to expect. Coming from Virginia Beach I always jump at the chance to play in Williamsburg, and Kiskiack didn't disappoint. Fairways and greens were very undulating, lots of doglegs, and well placed bunkers. Challenging and fun. 18 was cool, and watching my son go for it driving over the lake topped off a great day.

Great golf course really enjoyed playing here. Was more expensive than I had expected but was well worth the money we paid to golf. Very friendly and polite staff members you can tell they care about their valued customers. Had an amazing pulled pork sandwich and not messy so you could still golf while getting a bite in.

THIS POST HAS BEEN REMOVED 3 TIMES NOW ON GOOGLE...I wish I could give this course a 5 based on the course itself, but unfortunately I experienced the worst customer service I have even witnessed among any business. Frank (the starter) from the very beginning talked to us like we were children for no apparent reason (this has apparently also been the case for multiple other guests I have talked to). On hole number four one of the other guests I was with was on the rough near a sand trap across from the green. According to the sign this was not allowed at this particular hole but the driver had not seen this sign. Frank (the starter) is "policing" the course and from about 75 yards away screams at us for doing this. The other guest (who was not driving and already annoyed with frank for talking to him like a child) walks his way to Frank and screams back at him the way he had screamed at us. Frank then tells him that we had already been warned once by another starter on the last hole and apparently this was our last warning. No other started had said anything to us or the driver of that cart. Frank goes back to the shop and tells his side of the story saying we were warned twice in a row and that a guest had yelled at him. One or two whole later a gentleman from the pro shop politely told us we had to leave but that we would be refunded. We complied and left peaceful. Once entering the club house to revive our refund we were asked the question (by who I assume was the golf pro :shorter, tan-ish guy with brown hair and brown eyes) "do you gentlemen know why you are being kicked off the course" at which I replied "no" because I did not understand how a group would be kicked off because that missed a sign or how we would be the ones I'm the wrong when the started Frank approached us extremely rudely. The golf pro proceeds to tell us that we were warned twice in a row not to drive in a particular area (although the previous hole there was actually no sign at all nor did we drive the here Frank had told the pro we had driven). I told this to the golf pro, but he replied "I'll believe my employe over you". When the second started (the young man who supposedly warned us about something that we never did) walked in I asked him "did you say anything to us on the course?" at which he replied "no". So the golf pro has now just been told that no one besides Frank and hole four had said a word to us. I asked the golf pro "do you still trust your employe" to which he did not reply. Although this was the extent of my conversation with the men another guest with our group was angered and definitely had some names for the golf pro and Frank (but who wouldn't be upset when Frank lies to the golf pro and upon the golf pro figuring this out does nothing) Ultimately the golf pro said he was banning us all from the course course. I do want to thank the other employee who was also in the shop on the phone with the owner. He was extremely respectful and unbiased. Kiskiack, you need more like him and less like this golf pro and Frank!
