My boyfriend and I have been a loyal customers of Kingsmill Marina and Restaurant for several of years. It was a regular weekend event to meet friends there for supper, drinks and enjoy the live music, many times frequenting the restaurant 2-3 times a week. In the past 3 months, however, the establishment has rapidly and severely degraded. The service is painfully slow and the drink selection has become horridly limited. Last evening at arriving at 7:30 pm, as is custom, the man at the entrance very rudely insisted he was unable to seat any patrons for at least 90 minutes and he was sure we would not be served at the bar. Excuse me? Your service is SO SLOW it takes 90 minutes to get a table and you have a bar that will not serve someone who wants to buy a drink? Hello, Management! Are you listening? This fall when the tourist are no longer around, I will remember the way you have treated us the past 3 months.
