Our family had a wonderful experience at Kings Korner. They're family owned and operated which we appreciated. The food on the buffet line was fresh and well seasoned. It exceeded our expectations. Our daughter's favorite was the green beans. She kept asking for more! She loved dining outside and watching the planes take off. Our server was attentive and kind. What a wonderful hidden gem. Check them out!

The prime rib and fried chicken buffet on Saturday evening was PHENOMENAL! I haven't had such incredible prime rib and fried chicken in a LONG time. The salad bar was excellent with chilled shrimp. Great sides include mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans. Meal included drink and desserts. Highly recommend --exceptional price too! This place is like the local pub on the sitcom "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. Friendly environment!

I was really looking forward to trying this place because of all the good reviews and I wasn't necessarily disappointed, but wasn't satisfied either. I was prepared for buffet styled breakfast...ok, cool. Cons: they had no waffles or pancakes to offer as a main entree for breakfast. Only french toast and variety of other meats and bbq. The bacon was medium cooked, no crunchy pieces at all.. and extremely greasy. the inside of the actual restaurant was very outdated but I do understand this a Locally owned business. pros: Sitting outside we were able to see the planes and a few took off and landed which was cool. Service wasn't bad..our waitress and the women ringing us out were very nice & attentive. Also, the man who prepared the meat section was also very friendly. The only desert I found appealing to even look at were the cookies. They were very soft and taste good but tried the cinnamon bun and rice pudding and they were just not for me.

They catered a small event for us (50 people). My husband was pleased with the service we received. The food was great. From what I could tell people enjoyed it and even took home boxes of what was left over! Dessert were excellent. We used them last year and this year under the new management or ownership. My husband has reserved the date for next year's Christmas party. The servers were very friendly and accommodating.

Our holiday party was catered by this restaurant this year. Horrible food! Great if you prefer lukewarm instant potatoes with mystery gravy, vinegary bbq, salad with rotten tomatoes, and fried chicken so greasy and overcooked that it simply could not be eaten. Dessert consisted of cobbler less than an inch thick. All of this provided at an exorbitant price.

Do not hire them for catering. I was very disappointed with the catering service and follow up customer service provided by Kings Korner. The ownership transferred in May of 2024 and that may be part of the problem. On October 5, I had them cater a small party (35 people). The first red flag was when they were slow getting back to me because the owner had to do the cooking for an event. But they were an established business, so I went with it. The second red flag was when they called me at 1330 to see if they could deliver the food that was supposed to be delivered at 1630. They were told to deliver at the requested time and they did deliver in a timely manner and the guests started eating as soon as it was put out. The third red flag was when they showed up with two of chafing dishes missing a cover (you pay rental on the chafing dishes). Did not look very professional when part of the $1,100 meal had to be covered with foil. But the worst thing of all was the quality of the food. Please read excerpts from my guests below. brisket (burnt on the outside, dry and chewy - worst brisket ever - had to discretely dispose of first bite in my napkin), fried chicken (extremely dry and dark, so overcooked it was literally hard)chicken tenders (mushy, cold, not real chicken)mac and cheese (watery - had 0 flavor at all, no detectable cheese taste like it was painted yellow)green beans (canned / undercooked, no "southern flavor")pasta primavera (good)rolls (store bought - described as homemade from a family recipe - only if your family is Walmart)carrot cake (dry and tasteless). This was the most embarrassing meal I have ever placed in front of anyone. I actually sent out an apology note to my guests. To add insult to injury, the management at Kings Korner did not even acknowledge my complaint when I sent an email detailing my concerns (as constructive criticism). They did respond when I sent a follow up email requesting a small refund (not even enough to cover the cost of the poor-quality meats). If they had responded to the first email with an apology, I probably would not have even sent the second email. When they did respond to the second email it was to offer an even lower refund. They told me to pick up the check at their hostess stand during business hours. When I went to get the check, I was prepared to have a nice conversation with them to provide some constructive feedback. However, they did not even have the courtesy to come out and talk to me about my concerns. They definitely knew I was there because the hostess had to go to the owner in the back to get the check. And that is what led me to write this negative review. I understand that they are a new business, but if this is the product they are going to provide and the way they are going to treat customers, they will not be in business for long.

Food is disgusting and everything is just slightly weird. For example the pancake syrup comes out very viscous and stringy like mucus. The lauded barbecue has not taste of smoke. Long story short, stick to shoneys or Golden Corral. The food is better there and it's significantly cheaper
