We were in the area and decided to give it a try. My wife had trouble ordering so she settled for wings. They were good and she said she wanted to return and get her order in advance. I had the Philly cheesesteak it was good. A little better than anything I've had outside of Philly. I would recommend this place. Here are some details on the sandwich. I got the traditional cheesesteak. It was good cheesy and good cook of steak as well. Really big and the cheese and meat ran throughout the sandwich. It was tasty. I look forward to going backAs an add on the fried were really good. Great crisp and plentiful

After attending Sunday Mass on 1/12/25, I decided to try out King's Philly. Cheesesteaks are difficult to successfully replicate, despite the fact I generally enjoy the ones I've tried locally. In that respect, if you're looking for authenticity, King's Philly won't make that list. When I arrived, King's was empty. There was one employee at the counter, and I quickly noticed two kiosks against the wall to the right of the entrance. I made my way to the kiosks and noted that the employee didn't say a word when I walked in. I like kiosks mainly because I can see, right in front of me, the entire menu. I noticed an oxtail philly, a bulgogi philly, and even a salmon philly on the menu. With this being my first time here, I decided on a regular old philly - in this case, a Classic Philly Beef. I ordered that and made it a combo (French fries, can of soda). After I ordered and paid, I sat down at a table and waited for my food. As I waited, I noticed that King's Philly is connected to Sushi King. Sushi King has been consolidating their space the past few years as they converted the other end of their suite into a Domoishi, and now this space for King's. By the way, King's interior is bright, colorful, clean, and organized. I waited maybe 10 minutes - the girl at the counter informed me my order was ready, and I picked it up at the counter. There are no fountain drinks available (a drawback, imo), but there is a fridge at the counter where you can choose your soda (cans). There is a second fridge next to it which has bottled drinks. The Classic Philly Beef was okay. The beef wasn't sliced ribeye and honestly tasted like frozen beef that was defrosted and then heated up on the flat top. The philly wasn't rotten nor was it bad, but it wasn't outstanding. And for $14-$15 for an 8" sub, I feel it needs to be outstanding. Also, the bun/roll they used for their philly didn't hold up. It almost immediately fell apart and its contents (beef, grilled onions, grilled peppers, provolone) fell all over the place. I ate a good amount of my philly with a fork, so I wasn't able to enjoy it as a sandwich. The fries were decent - well cooked, so they were crispy. King's Philly is an okay cheesesteak option, but it's not a first-choice one. I was curious since they're new, but when/if I'm in the mood for a cheesesteak, I unfortunately will opt for another place. I will return, though, to try the oxtail and the salmon phillies. Maybe those will help me to become a regular, but the classic philly beef will take a backseat. Thank you, King's Philly! JV

Food was very good. Made to order and fresh. Great portion sizes. The service was friendly and quick. And the vibe was relaxed. A couple of tables but definitely a carry out spot. I had the ox tail, Philly and chicken cheesesteak. All are very good. The ox tail is definitely worth it. If you are in the area and are craving a good sandwich. This is the place for you. Call ahead the food is made to order. Will take about 15 mins.

New place by the all you can sushi place next to food lion at NAB Little Creek. Front very clean. Ordered fries. $9.95 ft or crazy thick curly fries. New one for me. Extra for everything else. Ox tail $7.95. $18 for fries?? $23.46 with drink and tax. Love ox tail. But these were disappointing. Tender with Good favor, But no gravy/sauce. Love thick sticky gravy you get from ox tail. There was none!! Fries were cooked well. But mostly fries. For $18 expect more. Prices are high, subs run up to $28 for 12 inch. Most likely not coming back. Sloppy Sailors across street has great subs and fries across the street and at reasonable prices. Tough to rate for me. Could be great with tweaks to prices and food. Until then tidewater drive for loaded fries and cheese steaks.

The worst Philly sub i ever wasted time and money on ,didn't even resemble a true Philly, had some kind of gross sauce on it , won't be returning .
