I love Bahn Mi and saw all the great reviews. I am not going back to this restaurant. First no bathrooms. Not clean inside. Not friendly. They make your food yell your name and walk off. Not a friendly place. My smoothie had some kind of black hard specks in it and was so hard. It was like little rocks. I got the pulled pork Bahn Mi. Meat was dry and NOT flavorful like I have had at other restaurants. They put the whole stem of cilantro on the sandwich and it was very stringy. No one else wanted to eat inside the restaurant either. People picked up orders but everyone left.

This place is cool. I placed my order on the kiosk machine and my food was done in like 10 minutes. I really enjoyed the sandwich it had a unique flavor but the roll is really what put it over the top for me. The roll reminds me of the Poboys French bread from New Orleans. I feel like the filling was light handed so I would recommend to double the meat. I also had a strawberry lemonade boba drink, it tasted like chemicals, I'm not sure if it was the boba or if they used unfiltered water but I have sensitive taste buds so it may just me.

Kim's Banh Mi & More probably serves up the worst banh mis, ever.I have been craving for some good banh mi for a while, so I was excited to see one nearby while we were in the area with good ratings.I placed an order on their kiosk, as it was highly recommended to do so, instead of in-person at the cashier. I had:+the WB4 - Grilled Chicken banh mi - the bread is supposedly made in-house, and this comes with cilantro, cucumber, spicy green peppers, pickled carrots & radish, and housemade mayo butter; I opted out of the cilantro; the housemade bread was so dried out and seemed a few days old - it was super hard to chew; the grilled chicken's seasoning was not good - it tasted like a mixture of five spices and some type of sickly sweet teriyaki, which made it unedible; the other toppings were not flavorful at all, and the pickled veggies were not pickled enoughYou can choose to get your bread toasted or not, but I don't think the bread being toasted had anything to do with the freshness. Besides banh mis, they also have milk teas, slushies, and pho.The wait for the banh mi was pretty long - they seem to get online orders, but there was only one staff member preparing everything. It took about a good solid half an hour or more to get my sandwich, which wasn't even worth it in the end.Definitely not worth a stop; such a super disappointing experience.Plenty of parking in the strip plaza lot.+worst banh mis ever+super slow service

Kim'a Banh Mi & More is a Vietnamese eatery that specializes in authentic Vietnamese style Banh Mi sandwiches and a variety of other Asian and Vietnamese eats. It is located in the Chic's Beach Plaza, stationed between a Little Caesar's to its left and the La Herradura Mexican Restaurant to its right. It was formerly the home of Swirly's Fruit, which was an ice cream and frozen yogurt bar, as well as a boba tea shop. The transition appears to have been made during the fall of 2021. Kim's Banh Mi & More bakes their own Vietnamese style baguettes daily, which are also on display and can be purchased separately. The Banh Mi sandwich is a unique fusion dish that originated during the period of French colonialism in Vietnam during the late 19th century. The Vietnamese took the traditional French baguette and gave it a much thinner crust that was lighter and crispier than the French style baguette. The Vietnamese also added their own unique fillings. The dining area is bright and airy with four square top tables and one rectangular table. I counted a total of 20 chairs altogether for their dine-in customers.A wall menu states that each Banh Mi sandwich is served with a fresh house made baguette with fresh cucumbers, cilantro, spicy green peppers, pickled carrots & radish, and the proteins of your choice.A kiosk for is available for self-serve ordering and is very user friendly. You can customize your orders by telling it what you do and don't want on your Banh Mi sandwiches. You can also order at the counter if doing so is your preference.During four lunch time dine-in visits, I have tried the following:COLD CUT COMBINATION BANH MI SANDWICH: Red Pork Ham, Pork Roll Ham, Pate, Housemade Mayo Butter, and Sauce.I ordered it at the counter extra spicy and told them to leave out the Mayo, as this is one condiment that has never agreed with me. The counter person was nice enough to ask if they should leave out the Pate as well, since it also contains eggs. I told him that I am okay with eggs in Pate, but not the Mayo. The crust was light and flaky, but a bit too dry and crumbly for my tastes. The Pate spread did not deliver quite the depth of flavor I like, and the filling was not as spicy as I like. Otherwise, the meats and fillings were tasty and filling. My Rating: 3.5 Stars.GRILLED CHICKEN BANH MI: Marinated Grilled Chicken, Housemade Butter, and Sauce. I asked the counter person if the sauce contained Mayo and was told it did not. I also told him to add some Pate and prepare it extra spicy.I had better luck with this one. The crust was light and crispy and not as dry as before. The grilled marinated chicken and other fillings delivered a nice combination of flavors. This one was also a little spicier than before. The Pate spread still did not deliver quite the depth of flavor I like. My Rating: 4 Stars.LAVENDER MILK BOBA TEA: The taste of this boba drink was a bit lackluster. The boba pearls kept getting stuck inside the straw, and I had to get a spoon to eat the rest. My Rating: 3 Stars.PHO DAC BIET SPECIAL COMBO: Pho Beef Noodle Soup with Round Steak, Flank Steak, Brisket, Beef Meatballs, and Beef Tendons, garnished with Chopped Scallions, Onions, and Cilantro. They just started serving Pho earlier this year. My Pho was served to me in a plastic bowl and with a plastic spoon. Their condiments were served stuffed inside a cylinder shaped cardboard container. I've been eating Pho as a dine-in customer for about 25 years, and this is the first time I have ever had it served to me in this manner. I feel strongly that Pho is one dish that deserves to be served in a traditional ceramic bowl and with an Asian soup spoon.About half of the meat slices were fat and gristly to the point of being inedible. I had to dump them in the cardboard container. The actual taste of the broth was only passable. My Rating: 2 Stars. For some better news, I also tried the following:GRILLED CHICKEN WITH RICE: Grilled Chicken with Cabbage, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, and Peppers over Rice. Ordered with a Spicy Fish Sauce Blend. This is one of their new rice dishes. The grilled chicken was abundant and marinated beautifully. The flavors of the other ingredients came through nicely, and I loved the kick of their Spicy Fish Sauce. I had enough left over for two more meals. My Rating: 5 Stars.KIM'S KIMCHI: Lotus Root, Mustard Greens, Cabbage Carrot, Cucumber, Pineapple, Sugar, and Vinegar. This was ordered from their Grab & Go Case.I recently added Kimchi to my diet, and their version might be the best one I have tasted yet. The combination of flavors works wonderfully, and I especially love the Lotus Roots. I am already on my 2nd jar. My Rating: 5 Stars,Based upon my four visits to date, my composite food rating came out to 3.75 stars, which enabled me to round up to a soft 4-star rating. I may stop in again sometime when I am in the area and especially when I am craving their Kimchi.

I finally made it here to try out the sandwiches. I usually drive up to NOVA for food shopping and hit up Eden center with a 6 pack and bring it back home. Having a Bahn Mi place much closer to home makes having the craving a lot easier. The bread is crunchy and light. It WILL make a mess so you know it's good. The filling/meat amount isn't bad and you have the option to add extra meat for like $3. I do wish they were a little more generous with the pickled veggies and cilantro. I just add more cilantro when I get home. I usually get the combo sandwich and the pork belly. Both are equally good as far as my kids and I care concerned. I am appreciative that we have a Bahn Mi dedicated sandwich store in the 757.

Bahn Mi meat crack! This pork sandwich was so good that I stopped the car to turn around and go get another one. Maybe even a different flavor. Might as well try that delicious looking meat pie and flan while I'm in there.

One of my favorite places to get banh mi in the 757 area! It's comparable to my viet boyfriend's mom's. SO YUMMY. I always get the combo roll or the grilled pork and cha lua roll. Both are so delicious. Their bread is made in-house and are so fluffy and not dry. The meat to veggie to bread ratio is just perfect. Sauce amount is just right too. Every bite is like HEAVEN. Service is quick too. They have self ordering kiosks, so I don't really talk to anyone until I pick up my food at the counter. Casual environment, seems like it used to be a frozen yogurt shop or something? I mostly get their food for takeout though!foodstagram|@ivyshungry

Definitely the best Banh mi sandwiches that I have found in the 757 area.. the bread was a little soft, but everything else was great. Ordered the steak Banh Mi and the steak had a great flavor, the veggies were fresh and overall the sandwich tasted great!!Only giving 4 stars as I have tried better Banh mi I. Other cities , so hoping something in the 757 comes along. This place specializes in Banh mi and they have around 10 different varieties to chose from... from pork belly, pork, beef, chicken, vegetarian, etc.

This was my 1st time here and I am no Banh Mi expert but here goes my review. They have 2 kiosks to order and they are very user friendly. It prompts you to do what you need to do and they have plenty of signage for descriptions of the sandwiches if you are not familiar. I ordered the grilled chicken banh mi. I got medium spice with everything. Toasted roll and cut in 1/2. While I waited I walked around. They serve the bread for .$99 which is nice. They have beverages for you to grab. There are a few tables if you want to dine in. I took mine to go. I only had a short interaction with the employee that gave me the sandwich but in the short time she smiled and was very friendly. The sandwich was good. The chicken was thin sliced and had lots of flavor. The bread was delicious. The only thing is every bite was different. Some bites were spicy and some had lots of cilantro. I think it's how they put things on the bread but I would rather have it spread evenly. I want to go back and try the steak banh mi. They are in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking and if you are with someone that doesn't want to try it there are plenty of options right next door.
