I was SO happy to find the Kielbasa Euro Deli in Virginia Beach! For background -- I grew up Polish American Catholic in Pennsylvania. Our traditions for Easter were very specific. Our large multi-generational family would attend church and then return home to indulge on traditional Polish foods, including smoked kielbasa (pork sausage), ham, beet horseradish, poppy seed and walnut rolls (sweets!), and bread/butter that had been molded into the shape of a lamb. This year would be different. I'd be in Virginia Beach, visiting our adult daughter -- and we'd be guests at her boyfriend's, whose parents would also be visiting. While the meal would be Italian American (their heritage), we wanted to share some traditional Polish favorites with the group. We discovered the Kielbasa Euro Deli online, and rushed on over. Upon entering, you find a small shop with aisles of mostly jarred and canned food items from Poland, some souvenir items, and freezer/refrigerated cases with pierogies (filled dumplings), farmer cheese, and other treats. At the back, there's a deli with kielbasa and other meats. As we considered one particular kielbasa, the worker in the deli area offered us a taste. Sold! We ended up finding and buying many of our traditional favorites. We missed out on the butter lamb. While the store carried them, we watched another patron buy the final one that was in stock. More would be in stock in a few days. *Kielbasa. We bought a large 2 pound link. (smaller links are also available). It was good, but our personal favorite continues to be the smoked kielbasa from Schiff's in Scranton. *Horseradish. (jarred). Excellent. Pungent. *Pierogies. We bought three frozen packets, each of which contained 12 small pierogies. (1) The potato and mushroom ones were disappointing. The potatoes were grainy, and we couldn't tell that they included mushrooms. (2) Blueberry -- as expected, but more of a dessert because of the sweetness. (3) potato and cheese -- haven't tried yet. *Poppy seed rolls. Very good, but still can't replace fresh and homemade!*(Wal)nut roll. Disappointing. More bread-y than sweet, a bit stale, and with an insufficient amount of nuts. Our final bill came to above $75. Note that, based on the labels, it appears that most of the "fresh" items are not made in Virginia Beach. Rather, they're coming from New York. I would return to this shop for Polish foods -- which are unique and time-consuming to make. It's great to have the shop in VB! Enjoy!

After living in Chicago and fully discovering Polish food, we are so excited to have found a great place to buy authentic and delish premade pierogi, and an awesome assortment of kielbasa, among so many other things! We first tried a good selection of items from Kielbasa at a friend's Easter dinner, and finally got in to check it out ourselves. It's a very small shop, but has a unique selection of items, including many choices of the frozen pierogi and a large meat case with a variety of kielbasy, cheeses, and other meats. Everything seemed very reasonably priced for the quality. The packs of about a dozen pierogi were $6 each, and beyond worth it! Today was a quick stop but definitely looking forward to checking it out again in the future. Heads up: no credit cards on purchases under $10, and I want to say they were not accepting Discover or possibly American Express...

Love this place. Great selection of Eastern European foods from kabanosy to śliwki w czekoladzie, to teas and wines. Best store and I'm so glad I live close to visit it often.

Always the best sausage! The sausage is like the sausages I grew up with. I can from a German family.
