This diner is a total find! It's a bit tricky to spot since it's tucked away in the tractor museum, but once you're in, it's all worth it. Inside, it's got a nostalgic diner vibe, a mix of low-top tables, booths, and bar seating. Making it super cozy and laid-back.I had the corned beef hash, potatoes, and a honey butter croissant. And wow, it was delicious! The flavors were on point and that croissant? Total winner. Our server raved about it, and she was right. Honestly, I could probably eat 3 of them. Plus, everything's super reasonably priced, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. The service was awesome, too. We were seated right away, and the staff was super friendly. If you're ever near this spot, definitely stop in for some good breakfast at a great price! Also, since it is located in the tractor museum, it would be easy to make an afternoon of this. I spent some time in the gift shop after and it was filled with cool finds, including some art from local artists.

I got the mozzarella stick($8) , home style potato ($3), and brisket($18). Mozzarella sticks were quite meh. The home style potato's were quite good. Freshly made and crispy with seasoning. There was a fair amount of brisket served however it was quite meh. Unfortunately for my side of mac n cheese I found a piece of metal in it which made me stop. The staff were sorry about it but still nice overall. The interior was quite cool with the tractor. Overall the lunch menu option food was literally ok excluding the metal in my mac n cheese, I'm sure the breakfast side would've been much better. However because of the metal piece inside my meal it ruined the experience for me. Food(50%): 5.0Staff/service(25%): 7.0Value(25%): 6.0Penalty: -4Overall: 4.8/10

Can't beat though tricky off highway! Need to look for the Keystone Truck & Tractor Museum sign .Seated promptly. He likes to sit at the counter. Burger was tasty, bacon was all fat, roll was cold . If u want a shake it takes a long time so so it immediately, worth it I had his side of collard greens, OK but not as great as last time , needed more flavor. Broccoli n cheddar soup was good. Worth a visit

Paid our inaugural visit to the grill! We were hopeful as the place was full and they had several awaiting seating before us.When seated, the server was prompt in welcoming us and asking for our drink order. She was a very nice young lady! The Mrs. Ordered French Toast, eggs over, and bacon. I just ordered the side of fruit and coffee.Overall, the food was mediocre! The French Toast was made using plain white bread, the eggs had no salt, and the bacon was overcooked, but cold when it hit the table. Plus the bacon and eggs were a premium sides, $2.49 each on top of the 8.49 for the french toast. It certainly is a novel place to eat and the staff was nice, which accounts for most of, if not all of the 3 stars. So maybe we'll go back again in a few years for the novelty, but honestly never again for the food!

Great little diner that has fantastic service and is kept very clean. Open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch. Food prices were great and the food itself was very tasty. The grill/diner is attached to the truck and tractor museum, which opens at 9am. While dining, you can see into the museum through large glass windows. If you're planning on visiting the museum, totally worth eating here first or afterwards.

Well we have lived in this area for 25 years and have heard many friends say they have had great breakfast meals here. Well, now we can say the same thing. We both had The Pride of Keystone. The meal was very filling and worth the $11. We also had a single French Toast which was very good and so was the fried potatoes. As for the location, it appeared very clean and had a very to the antique tractors. Our server took care of us and kept checking in us. She also asked if we eligible for any veterans or first responders discounts. Which we were. She didn't have to do that but she did and saved us 10% on our meal. So with that - we made sure she got that extra $$$ in her tip. I definitely recommend this place to any locals who have not tried it or folks that are traveling past it up and down interstate 95 . Stop in and have a good meal.

A Trip Down Memory Lane: A Rendezvous with the Bygone Era at Keystone GrillThe Keystone Grill in Petersburg, VA, is not just a restaurant; it is a delightful voyage into the cherished past, nestled in the contemporary setting of a bustling town. On a serendipitous drive, I found myself pulling up to the quaint facade of the Keystone Grill, a decision that I am now profoundly glad for.As I stepped inside, I was immediately transported to a nostalgic 1950s diner, evoking a sense of warmth and familiarity. The restaurant houses the local Tractor Museum, showcasing a range of vintage tractors from Massey-Harris to Allis-Chalmers, adding a unique historical touch to the overall ambiance. The interior of the Keystone Grill is an earnest homage to the iconic 50s era. The checkerboard tile flooring, coupled with yellow and aquamarine hues adorning the walls, exudes an era-specific charm. The diner's old-fashioned countertop, complete with classic diner bar stool seating, a Wurlitzer jukebox, and a Big Boy statue, accentuates the retro vibe impeccably.Seated in a traditional 50's style diner booth, the ambiance was akin to a gentle hum of a quiet street, underscored by light, upbeat diner music that set a relaxing yet cheerful tone for the meal to come. The culinary journey commenced with a comforting giant mug of coffee and a Dr. Pepper, followed by the soup of the day for appetizers. The Cream of Broccoli and Cheese soup was a hearty start with its thick consistency and big, fresh chunks of broccoli. The Chicken Noodle Soup, on the other hand, boasted a homemade broth brimming with fresh chicken, setting a high bar for what was to follow. For the main course, the Beef Brisket Platter was a carnivore's dream come true with its generous portion of sliced, smoked, soft, savory, and fork-tender beef brisket. Accompanied by a serving of creamy Mac & Cheese and homemade chunky mashed potatoes, it was a wholesome meal that warmed the soul. The Chopped Steak, a hefty 6-ounce portion smothered in brown gravy with an option of sautéed onions and peppers, was a savory delight. Although mushrooms are an additional choice, this time they were opted out. The steak too was accompanied by the same comforting sides of Mac & Cheese and mashed potatoes, ensuring a fulfilling dining experience. The Keystone Grill encapsulated an enchanting blend of memorable past and tasty present, all without burning a hole in the pocket. The modest pricing was the cherry on top of a very pleasant dining experience, making it a place worthy of re-visits and hearty recommendations.

We started coming here last year because we wanted something different from Cracker Barrel. This place does not disappoint, we come here often now for breakfast. The food is always delicious, customer service is always great. They even have a tractor museum on site and a gift store for your browsing needs while you wait. It's a family friendly environment. Prices are good and for all my military friends YES, they give discounts .
