Kelly's Tavern

Kelly's Tavern is one of the few places in the area that stays open pretty late so when I'm craving some late night eats, Kelly's is my go-to. When you walk in, you can choose to sit at the bar, in booths near the bar or in the dining area so we chose to sit in the dining area since the bar can get pretty loud.The server came over to us right away to take our drinks. Their Pickle Fries are amazing so I immediately put in an order of those. I also decided on the Honey Habanero Burger as well since I was craving a good burger. The Pickle Fries were served piping hot and were very delicious. It didn't take long for the burger to arrive as well and it was cooked 'medium well' just like I ordered it! The burger was amazing but it wasn't spicy at all. When I think of a habanero burger, I think the spiciness would be prominent but the flavors were still great nonetheless.Overall, Kelly's has great food and drinks and the staff is always super nice! This restaurant always has a fun vibe, you can't go wrong dining here.

Good late night place w lots of sports on tv!! Sat at bar and nachos were loaded. Pretzel was warm and comes w lots of cheese to dip in. Bar service was great. Just wish they had better draft selections.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress was friendly and on top of her job.

This Kelly's Tavern is located in the Strawbridge Shopping Center near the corner of London Bridge Rd. and General Booth Blvd. Inside the shopping center, it is located next to the Regal Cinemas movie theatre. My visit here was on September 11, 2021.With this place being right next to the movie theatre, parking can be hit or miss depending on the time you come to the area. In this case, parking was not an issue at that time. I had heard some good things about the place, so that's why it was decided to give this place a try. This will likely be my only visit unless things change in the future.When coming in, the place was pretty much empty. The guy from the bar saw us come in and told us we could sit wherever we wanted to. He came over with the menus and asked us what we wanted to drink while looking over the menu. To start with, my mom and I did go with the Bavarian Pretzel appetizer. A few minutes later we were ready to order. I ended up going with the Grande Nachos since they were on special that day. My mom went with the Loaded Baked Potato Soup (bowl). During this time, we had the Bavarian Pretzel, which was really good with the beer cheese sauce.After roughly five to ten minutes, our orders came to the table. On the surface, everything looked really good. That would change after starting to eat. For the Grande Nachos, everything was soggy, even the chips. The toppings that were on it too didn't taste fresh either and tasted more like they came from cans. Now, onto the baked potato soup. My mom said the soup was bland and probably one of the worst baked potato soups she has had. It didn't even include all of the stuff that was supposed to be on it as well, such as bacon, scallions and cheese. There was some cheese in it, but it was just a little bit of shredded cheese on top. We never got a chance to address the issues as the server didn't come back until we were ready to get out of there. He pretty much remained behind the bar with the few patrons there at the bar.Overall, this was not a really good experience, and would not be in a rush to come back. The food didn't seem fresh except for the Bavarian Pretzel and the beer cheese dip that came with it. The Bavarian Pretzel is what saved it from getting a 1 star rating. Service was lackluster at best. There are plenty of other locations in the area that you can go to if you're looking for bar food. I would check out those alternative places instead.

My go to spot before I hit the movies next door! looking for a strong drink and a fun casual atmosphere? come here. The bartenders are really nice and attentive. They also have food if you want to order something to eat. nothing special just bar stuff. Super basic tavern decor and drinks. Prices are a bit steep for drinks and food for a bar I noticed. Other than that ill definitely come back to pre game prior to my movies!

Ok, so maybe it's a 3.5 for me. First time coming to this location and from what I gather it used to be smoker friendly and now it's not... Cool. Came in to kill some time before our movie and the young lady at the host stand even opened the door for us when she saw us walking up. Awesome. She said we can pick wherever we wanted to sit so we chose the first booth by the door. Our waitress was okay. She wasnt too confident in her answers when we asked questions but she came thru each time. I really, really enjoyed the fish and chips. I would def come back for those. Three huge pieces of fish perfectly battered and crispy, piping hot with each bite on top of battered fries, which actually the waitress suggested / recommended so kudos to her for that!! Fiance's (3) fish tacos he said were delicious and he killed those in no time!Seems like a fun place to come during the evening for drinks, apps, and music so I'm inclined to return. Very casual and relaxed with outside seating and corn hole and pool tables as well.

The staff is the main reason why my wife and I come back! Also there boneless bbq chicken is amazing! This has become my favorite local bar!

It's aiiiiight. You know the deal when you walk in, basic bar type food. I've had an amazing Pastrami and Swiss sammy with a Jalapeño Chili. I've also had a mediocre French Dip. The happy hour sports some decent prices. Girly said the Chicken Salad Wrap was no bueno, but we inhaled the fries like a couple of Hoover Vacuums.Kelly's is a cool place to grab a beer and then soak that beer up with salty/grease belly busting bar favorites!

Not a bad local spot. I've been eating here on and off for years. This spot has standard pub fare, with decent prices, decent service and a friendly atmosphere. I recommend the Buffalo wings, they are always good.

Ehhh no one came to wait on us until i stood up and walked around like a goon. Then finally they noticed. Even though a hostess sat us. No one knew we were here for about 15-20 minutes. Food too expensive. French dip was so so and not very big for the price. Overall not impressed
